Yes, nano bots was an asumption.  However, using a mass-efect field/polarization to quickly shap a blade (and use polarization to hold it) is not impossible.  Look at that one girls (i think) sig for a better explanation

I didn't say it was bad. I said I didn't agree/support/advocate it. I was pointing out how someone said soon there will be "Omni-plate Armor" when Tech Armor is aesthetically and functionally the same thing. Mkay?

I vote for an Omni-Bus.

You can drive it over your enemies all the way to the end of the mission. Vanguards only, as it is obviously the logical conclusion of the Charge ability.

That's crap. You dumb vanguards* wouldn't know how to perform maintenance on it well enough to use it for more than 1 mission. The Omni-Bus is obviously an enineer power.

Duh, that's because we're clever enough to build TWO while everyone else  blindly follows the instructions and builds ONE. The problem with you Non-Vanguards is that you think inside the box too much. Doing things like "reading the manual" and "following safety precautions".

which is why I do not understand why people try to defend the point
that it makes sense on here. Just because you're a fan of Bioware

Vanguards don't need an Omni-Tool or Omni-Weapon, just 'charge' and bash thing's with their big empty heads. They won't lose anything.

Why should we limit it to weapons, the whole game is full of weapons. Most of us are talking about the Omni-Tool and it's possible use this is what keeps people interested. You say "I want an Omni-Bat" you might get one comment then thread dies you say something amusing another use for the 'Tool' then people can talk and have fun debating that for a page.
