I mocked your idea because it was worthy of mocking. Mocking the idea is still on topic. You just need to develop a thicker skin and not let snarky comments affect you so much, or think about what you're posting rather than just spouting off at your keyboard. Unless you're going for humor, then spouting is usually a good thing.

Omni-flail is actually impractical for the omni-tool. The blade works because it is mono-molecular, and thus actually needs very little omni-gel to create. A flail, on the other hand, is an inherently massive weapon that would require significantly more omni-gel than is practical to carry into battle.

Edit: Also, Karimloo, your post are far more likely to catch flack than mine, so I really hope the mods take a look.:innocent:

Sentinel, actually. Tech Armor.

Which is why I brought up redundancy issue, with some of choices people mentioning such as grenade launcher, flamer thrower, armour type and duplication of ranged skills already in game. Apparently that isn't being construcitve or offering anything up for debate with some people in this thread. Then there's the issue of this 'tool' function is to bring back murder knife aspect so it's a finisher style move. Any functions away from that go back to possible duplication of already existing skills and equipment.

Redundancy, having a tool replicate what an already existing gun or skill does. One of reasons I stated no grenade launchers, flamethrowers and so on..

...either I don't know what you're talking about, or you don't know what he was talking about...

Already have armour in game, already have barrier and shield type skills, already have guns and flamethrower/grenade launcher/nuke plus skills with AoE and such. No need to add same function to a 'tool'.

He said armour, I referred to that. So in answer to your question it is the former part of your reply not the latter.

...Then I still don't get it.  He was saying he didn't want it because it didn't fit the universe.  I said Tech armor is basically omni-plate armor.  And then you said Omni-plate armor would be redudnant and therefor shouldn't exist along with a host of other things.

Glad you think so, nothing would be quiet as epic as Shep dispensing some Pez mid battle, and watching his enemies freeze in  awww.

What you misunderstood is the fact I was agreeing with you both that the omni-tool shouldn't replicate what already exists in one form or another.
