Ransom's zhjaeve mod

I've used the compare function in the 2da editing tool to edit my own appearance 2da with the mod changes (just one cell is changed for her body model) so it's not a compatability issue with that file, I'm guessing since it's an older mod the conflict lay in the 1.22/1.23 patches, but my own modding abilities are only minor 2da edits and stuff like that.
Any help would be greatly appreciated, it's a real eyesore that zhjaeve doesn't show up equipped items, especially armour.

[edit] Oh yeah, you probably need at least two downloads - the Zhjaeve body-of-choice I mentioned above and the Zhjaeve Clothing. I also have the Clothing For Other Races and Zhjaeve Always Summer Clothing but those are optional.

I've installed it correctly (exhibitionist folder with the MotB appearance 2da switch, always summer folder, zhjaeve clothing folder, all into override; tried both mydocuments override and root directory override).
So I tried editing my own appearance 2da from the creaturesdistance mod by zarathustra (that I normally have installed with no prob), the only edit Ransom's mod does to the 2da is change the cell for the body model in zhjaeve's entry (row 588). Still no dice using an appearance 2da that I know definitely works in my install.
Is there anything you had to change about the files that came with the mod?

I just unzipped the various rars again and dumped them into the Override subfolders and nothing changed, so the files are all unaltered. I think it must be something else interfering.
My appearance.2da sits in the same subfolder as the co_zhjaeve.UTC. That may be causing a problem with that creaturesdistance mod. I would try putting a copy in both locations and see what happens.
I have a bunch of other mods that impact appearance - aleane's, chimneyfish's, acme's, and on and on. One that I removed because it's broken is a folder called JesterNew. I don't know if that was his name or mine, but if it rings a bell you may have to toss it. I have an armorvisualdata.2da with a number of extra entries that I don't know where it came from. I'll just copy it here:

B003 on the nwvault page had some trouble with his Genasi after adding this. Do you have anything that mods the Genasi?
That's all I can think of - a bunch of random thoughts, really, but maybe there's a germ of an idea there.

At the bottom of the download page, Ransome has a post with the changes that need to be made. You will do this to the zhjaeve.ros file in your saved game folder. Use the gffeditor also on nwvault.

Thanks for going out of the way to help us out on this mate, nice job
I didn't think that would be it because I installed the regular always summer pack mid game and it showed up straight off with no probs on save games.
The aurora shell wouldn't have done that, you'd have to use a savegame editor to remove the armour, then give it back and then it would show up with the new mesh/mod/tex on saved games. Since I didn't have to do that I just assumed it'd be okay with characters in the save too. Never would've thought.

i figured it out. and since i actively dislike when people find the answer to a question they asked on a forum, but dont share that answer for people who have similar issues...
using gffeditor edit the following within the Zhjaeve ros file:
change wings from 20 to 0
change nevershowarmor from 0 to 1
tint_head/tintable/tint/1:

this is not a typo there are two sections titled tintable and one titled tin_head that need to be change. this only should need to be done if you install this mod after aldanon and Zhjaeve first talk to each other while inprisoned
