There's no point in voting at all, quite honestly. Go ahead and give all four a vote or don't vote for any. At the end of the day, Bioware will get what they want.. which will probably be the one that looks so much like the original default anyway.

Which defeats the point of making a new high res default.

I mean at this rate, the old default is in the game, and the new one will ALSO be a redhead.

LOLWUT

You'd think people would want variance.

Why you are so interested in default shepard ? Why Bioware should waste time to enable these options when you already have the CC? ( Ask the same question asked in the past )

Do not ask options, or all the Presets, deal with it . As you said before, Bioware shouldn't waste time to enable these options when you already have the CC shepard. blah blah. hahaha.

I'm just glad I'm not a blonde. I'd of felt like dirt being trashed by all the stereotypers earlier.

Although technically, I still have stray Blonde hairs so maybe I'm 1/1,000th Blonde.

Anybody who gets offended by anything someone says on BSN should gtfo.

Riiiight.

BSN =/= serious business

People who think the BSN ≠ Serious business need to GTFO.

lawl

But seriously though, people can get offended no matter where the insults are.

No see that's the point, it disproves nothing because the balance is fecked sideways because of all the hate and drama and attention it's gotten. People are no longer just voting for themselves, they're voting to make a statement too. So what's this about now?

Your asking whats this about when you just answered your own question which I believe is likely incorrect. What statistics do you have that seems to prove your statement. I'm not going to claim anything with absolute certainty but even before the voting I have seen many posts about people who just liked the hair style even BW said that and made a second round on that. What statement are they supposedly making?

Exactly, this whole thing is an engineered exercise in pretending to care about the community's input.

Hey guys? They all have exactly the same eyecolor. The only difference between the models I can see is haircolor, and that ginger shep has freckles.

You're probably perceiving the eyecolors as being different because they are next to different hair colors. This is called simultaneous contrast and it's a well-known optical illusion.

People treat this more seriously around here than voting for President or something.

But of course! Presidents come and go, while FemShep will still be on my shelf when I introduce my future children to the awesome heroes who inspired mum to become who she is ;)

(scary part is I kinda can't get myself to put a "j/k" on this post =D)

But, what if out of the blue they changed the way Sheploo looked? That would cause the same goddamn uproar.

I never felt Jane Shep was given the same amount of design attention that Sheploo was. So, regardless of outcome, I am pleased that they are giving her some deserved attention now.

Definitely positive.

They should give Jane Shepard a model like Sheploo.. oh wait there was never a vote on HIS appearance. Wonder why that is.

Dont get me wrong I do agree, it will help having people know the initial presets are in game.  But I think its still a bit optimistic it will stop all this bickering because the fact is people arnt voting for a new CC choice.  They are voting for who they want to see in the trailer and it will still leave a lot of people negative and annoyed regardless of having a CC option.   Yes people are that petty, were seeing it happening right now.

Bioware should have stuck to their guns and this second vote really shouldnt have happened.    Its annoying for femshep fans who have supported more marketing for years because all this negativity is overshadowing something awesome that has happened.   I find it rather fustrating because how she looks has never been an issue for me.

I really don't think this negativity affects anyone except a few people on the forums. The majority of the gaming community won't see any of this. They'll just see a lot of publicity about femshep and a lot of Bioware bending over backwards to please people.

We on the forums see a lot of negativity but we on the forums know that it's all nonsense and par for the course on pretty much any topic around here. Most will either roll their eyes or chuckle at the childishness of it all and as soon as the voting is over will turn their attention to something else to complain about.

I wouldn't worry about it :)

Julian

Do you have pictures of your blonde strands prince

Nooooooooo. You have to be in front of me to BARELY see them.

My hair is naturally black AND brown. That much is obvious.

My maternal side of the family is Cuban, and farther back, Spanish.

The Spanish side is where the stray blonde hairs come from.

My paternal side of the family is Indian, and farther back, Irish.

The Irish side is where the stray red hairs come from.

So getting close enough to kiss me(heeeeeello, ladies), an occasional blonde and red hair can be seen on my facial hair(as of now a goatee) or my long flowing hair.

But its so hard to see, you won't see it in pictures. Unless I take a close up high def shot of my facial hair, which would be....odd.

Have you ever gotten close enough with a lady and had what should have been a special moment, only for her to pull back in horror and explain, "Sorry... I'm a 1/2000th gal; 1/1000th is too much for me" *Girl walks away* *LPPrince: "NOOOOO"* ?

P.s. I just won 5000 pts for most disjointedly stuctured question ever.

That's true, but a place like this (or the Internet at all, for that matter), should not be one of them.

Does anyone remember the saying: "Sticks and stones may break my bones, but words will never hurt me."?

They all have green eyes.  Or they all have blue eyes.

I looked again and you may be right... it's kind of hard to tell from this distance.

Yep. Just use an image editor/viewer and zoom way in.  If you still doubt, try using a color picker on the eye pixels.

I tend to take it lightly and wind the morons (and boy are there many of them on here!) up but whether it be about religion, race or hair colour, I'm going to get tired when the same bullsh*t stereotype is applied.

No they don't. Go look at the blown up pictures earlier in the thread.

Blondie, Brunette, and Black haired FemShep have blue eyes.

Redhead has green. I'm not kidding.
