Why do so many prefer dyed-red in games anyway? To me it's just as much of a 'stereotype' as blond, black, brown, pink or bald. I just hope we can change the haircolour ingame.

Sigh, BW should never ever let their fanbase decide on stuff anymore...

All this fretting over hair colour does make me wonder why we can't just pick the default and change it ourselves (without mods). I get that we can't change the face structure for this reason and that, but other, smaller, details such as this would seem easy to sort with the CC?

Anyway, my vote went to coppery red. Pretty close to my main Shep in fact, although she has blue eyes and not green.

Sadly that one isn't going to win of course. Frankly I think I would have preferred the blonde over the darker haired Shep as well, mostly because the barbie/airhead comments rather annoyed me, but also because I think she stands out more. So for me: Red > Dirty Blonde > Blonde > Brown.

But yeah, c'mon coppery red!

As long as they don't make femshep start wearing sexy armor i'm fine. I still have my custom femsheps. People complained that the blonde femshep was choosen because she had the best haircut and now people have the ability to change it and so they are going to litterally zoom in on the pictures to FIND things to complain about. Rediculous.

It is a split vote 2 blond options (or close to it.) They simply ignored a legitimate vote. Due to complainers not less. Meh I would take BW word for it (if you actually believe them). There were posters who said they liked they voted for blonde shepard because of the hair style and they would have likely wanted a different color. The whole voting thing was a bit pointless but they were throwing the fem shep fans a bone hell this whole thing so far proves that more people wanted a different hair color for shepard even though they liked the hair style. I didn't like the blonde hair color as did many people but its mostly the small vocal minority who were actually very pissy about it. Hell I would have preferred #3 over the others.

Small vocal minorities suck. They are known as LOBBYISTS and SPECIAL INTEREST GROUPS. They skrew the majority to get their way. That is why there are tax cuts for the rich. The rich get ricker and the poor get poorer. Off topic, but there you go.

Urhm how is that even possible? The face is literally identical, same lighting. The only difference is the eyes & hair color and freckles on red Shep.

Eye form makes a difference, at least for me (perfectionist), they are more rounded and gently going down at the end of the eye, of the redhead ones

I see what you mean now, but I severely doubt the final in-game model will take that miniscule difference into account.

I hope you're right  at this point i dont care who wins, as long as it keeps that fierce look

This whole thing is stupid, if BioWare is caving to idiotic demands, well here's some more that I expect to see: I want Kaidan's hair to be purple, I want Jack to have 44EEE's, I want Garrus to be human and a insurance salesman for Detroit. I want Fem Shep's armor to be change to Samus' Varia suit and have the ability to turn into a morphball. I fully expect my complaints to be added into this game or I will be on here complaining every day.

I'd have rather they tried to improve seamless gameplay instead of removing it entierly.

What they are doing in ME3 is going back to a more seamless experiance, which if they had done so in ME2 they would be improving it further in ME3 rather starting from scratch again.

As for the colour of femsheps hair, I think it's a rather superficial detail. It will be the exact same face no matter what you choose. If you don't want to play as a femshep with that hair colour then you don't have to, you can choose another hair colour or another default character entierly. There probably won't even be that many people that buy the collectors edition as there are people who have voted and fumed about what hair colour looks better.
