Okay... I just heard about all this a couple of minutes ago.And as a supporter of Blonde FemShep: Option 5.That BioWare has decided to start another pole and my girl is now losing.Has sort of left me.In a state of disbelief and indifference. <_< I don't like to repeat myself and I agree with about next to everything that charmingcharlie has said about this in another thread.

Once again it seems that BioWare has decided to invalidate the decisions that gamers have made.(There really needs to be an "Angry Face" Emoticon on this site, goddammit.) We voted the votes were tallied and closed.And now they are saying,"Even though you just voted for the Poster-girl (or President) already.Now were going to have a New Election... Surprise!

Blonde FemShep won.Blonde... Not Brunete - Not Red - Not Black...And I have no idea why so many people seem to be obssessing over seeing Option 5 with Red hair.Is it b/c that's what the original Default Jane Shepard's hair color was? Or do you all just have some fetish? Aren't there already enough Firebush characters in the Mass Effect Universe!?! You got, Ken, Gabby, Kelly, somebody else and some other folks.They're ubiquitous -- Ffs...There is like no blonde on the Normandy or on any of the worlds you visit.There are of course a few exceptions here and there.Like the female soldier on Feros, that you meet.

But I guess everyone who has this sig:

Just kidding... sort of.

I'm persoanlly torn between light blonde and red. I like the blend of the skin and hair from the original femshep 5. However, I also like the red hair (although I think it has too much constrast, needs to be lighter) and it does kill all those "canon" arguments about default Shep now being blonde. Also gets rid of the prejudice/stereo complaints against femshep 5.

Unfortunately Bioware may have opened a bigger can of worms now. Best if this is the last vote or else we will end up with with most common female protagonist in video games:

A well tanned, red haired, blue/green eyed knockout.

 Did anyone else notice that all but the redhead have the beauty mark. She has freckles instead. What's up with that:huh: I like the beauty mark. Freckles are ok but imho the beauty mark looks better. oh well

Yes, and as i said in another thread, is because is not the same Shep we're voting for now

We're choosing between Fem#5 with different hair color, against Fem#2 with different hair style. So they just throw away all the people who voted for #5 in the first place.

People now is just voting for a hair color, not realizing that the redhead have diferent facial marks, eye form and eye color. GG Bioware <_<

I voted for the red head and the blonde the first time round. The first for color, the second for style. Obviously everyone has different tastes so I don't think you're going to get one clear answer. 



It's a bit unfair of the of people who voted for the blonde, soley because she was blonde, to get their panties in a bunch when more than one person (quite a lot, in fact) did say on the original poll they were picking 'look' more than color and they'd have prefered other options. The blonde option is still there. You want to influence the outcome? Then vote, don't whine.

And this is a hugely important distinction given that #2 was otherwise identical to #5. All the new poll shows is what a lot of people were saying: hairstyle was the primary determinant of people's votes in the first poll.

That hairstyle, with red hair. It's a dream come true.
However, I must say; for future games Bioware may just want to let people modify any given preset they throw out there. I know it bummed me out when I couldn't give Lady Hawke red hair in DA2 with the default face.

I'm a little... lets say disturbed that the red head doesn't have the same facial marks <_< why the heck did they change it!? If the red head was just a hair change I wouldn't really have a problem. I would still prefer the blonde but the fact that they changed the face, even thought it's just a little, irritates me.

Okay, THIS Shep I could cope with. It's the only one that's not sent me hunting for a paper bag. 

I didn't take a pic of mine but mine didn't look bad either. I don't think femshep looked bad but am gald they are redoing it.
