What annoys me the most is how the people who voted for FemShep 5 acted like the were the mature party and everyone else was just a whiny, loud minority that should "deal with it" are now acting the exact. same. way. To those people: Take your own advice and we'll all be happier.

It hurts when your choice doesn't win, I know, but the hypocrisy is actually quite hilarious! Imo more choice is always better, but it kind of rings bitter when everyone gets so, well, bitter about it.

Hey guys, we get a Femshep that isn't some lower quality random combo of slider settings. Be happy please! And don't complain, vote for the one you want and have your voice heard!

Oh and like someone above said, we probably wouldn't have had the FemShep trailer yet anyway. If it was so close to being done this vote would never have happened.

Seriously it seems that people did not want blonde. That's it. People could have voted for the same color but didn't. People who are angry that they feel their vote was invalidated last round are just pissed that this round didn't go their way.

Honestly this whole affair shows why developers really shouldn't listen to fans when it comes to character design.  They should do what the background and story necessitates.  If the writers envision her as whatever color or design then they should go with that.

Yes I must admit the hypocrisy you guys are showing is quite hilarious.  I take it you now view the vote as being "legitimate" do you ?  I take it you no longer feel that Bioware is just catering for the "hormonally challenged males" do you ? 

The only people that have acted hypocritcally in this whole thing are the ones that ****ed and moaned about the first poll till they got a second one.

They didn't throw out the results.  They never stated that the haircolor was going to stay blonde.  We still are voting on the same overall design of Femshep but now with more detail.  This also is more representative of the overall population who may have voted for a different design of Femshep.

I would agree with this but Bioware started marketing Fem Shep solely because of the fan support. Now just using standard reasoning they should let the fans vote for a Fem Shep. Now me personally I wouldn't have let the fans vote since BSN members can be whiny SOBs most of the time but I guess bioware kind of wants to focus on some of the other fans who are more sensible and won't complain over every single thing.

I guess that's what it comes down to.  Lady Hawke was welcomed with open arms without a vote.  However, it was nice of them to allow fans to vote on this one (or a good marketing scheme).

In the end there should have been no vote, one vote, or at least told people more votes were to come.  I bet the results of the first polling may have been different then.  I don't think Bioware was planning this vote #2 though, but liked the buzz and wanted to address some criticism of femshep 5.

Unfortunately, they sort of validate bimbo blonde complaints unintentionally with this vote but hey.
