Are there really that many people who just hate blondes? I saw some of that floating around, but I didn't think it was that big of an issue. As far as I'm concerned, I simply prefer black or red hair, but I've got nothing against blonde. What makes you think others aren't thinking similarly?

I do agree also, I voted for other styles but the whole 30,000 votes some were just for the haircut. I feel for those who wanted a BlondeShep but it shows what colour the majority may want now. *shrugs*

Heh, had the same problem. Ended up voting for both. Black reminded me of the default John Shepard and red because that's how Jane has been the last two games. She looks fine in all the colors so no complaints on which one wins.

That doesn't make any sense. Femshep 5 is available in this poll too, so if the 30,000 people you mention wanted #5 exactly as she is, they'll just vote for her again. If they are indeed the majority, they will win.

I don't see how you can argue that a minority can win a poll.

I don´t care about hair color that much, but now I am really angry. I have spend weeks reading about how blonde woman cannot save universe, bimbo, blah blah blah and tadaaaa...here we have new poll to write her off.

What kind of insane logic is this? Voting again on the blonde will increase its chances of winning. If everyone that voted on the blonde thinks like you in terms of voting, she's obviously gonna lose. If you like the blonde, vote for the blonde O.o I think this is more of an excuse on your part, because you wouldn't want to accept that the majority likes another hair color, and you have some kind of inferiority complex with blonde hair, and wanted to win something for a change, and are afraid to lose, so you won't participate this time, because you know the numbers will be different, and you know the hair style was the reason, not the color.

One of my catchphrases- "You'd be surprised."

There was a TON of blonde haters. Not hating blonde because its blonde, but hating it because of the stereotypes associated with the hair color.

So people banded together to back up and defend those with blonde hair, fighting the stereotype, trying to open people's eyes to their own ignorance,

aaaaaaand now it turns out that it doesn't matter because blondie's not a shoe in to win anyway.

THAT's my issue. If there wasn't all this controversy over a blonde winning and the second poll came up, I'd have no problem with it.

Hell, I SUGGESTED it a long time ago. But I feel like everything I said defending blondes is now going in one ear and out the other because all the stereotype supporters are gonna go, "lalalalala, blondie's not gonna win".

As someone with black and brown hair with stray blonde and red hairs due to my background and ethnicity, I try to support everyone and look at all sides.

But I feel like the fight to defend blondes is now moot.
