Already over 13,500 votes for Ginger Shep. In a single day. Heck, it's only been 12 hours.

Even Blonde Shep didn't originally get that many votes in such a short period.

I suspect that the vote is going to be an even larger landslide than the first.

How's it fair though that they tweaked the red-head to look more like a natural red-head and did nothing to alter the other models? Seems a little like picking favorites to me. Yeah, I brought that up earlier. Why throw extra attention to the Redhead by changing things up a little and not slightly alter the others?

Another idea- Bioware as a whole liked the Red haired Shep from the first poll, but obviously she lost.

So they redid it and threw extra attention at the red haired one hoping it would garner the win this time.

Along with adding 10,000+ fake votes just so she wins.

I wouldn't be so sure. Ebon Shepard has 9000 + already as well. It's very likely that she could still come back.

I love how back during the first poll, when Hale said she liked the redhead more, people tried to use that as justification for FemShep needing to be a redhead.

She's just the voice actor, its not like her opinion is worth more than anyone elses. lawl

Look, maybe I didn’t express myself well, don’t get me wrong I’m excited for the game. I’ll play the preset if I like her (regardless of the result), if not I’ll create/import my Shepard like always. That was never the issue.
 
It’s just how this whole “process” is going about. Like was said above, it’s been kind of uncomfortable and disturbing to sort of witness and it only get worse. It’s almost like, what should have been a step forward and awesome because we’re getting a say in this, feels otherwise for some reason. And that’s just me, not saying you should share the sentiment, in the slightest. 
It’s like, with the freckles thing. Will that become an issue too, will we need a poll for that as well? You know what I mean? No…? O.o

Good point... IF we complain enough and say we're only voting for #4 (in the new poll) for the hair color or.... wish she hadn't got freckles.... Will there be another poll with all red heads with different hair styles or one for freckles and non freckles..?

Meh. They've got the dialogue down to the point where Shepard can recognize what sort of object you want a squad-mate to hide behind. They can work it so the other three only choose hair colors your current Shepard doesn't have.

Currently there's a vote for who's gonna be on the cover of the CE for WWE 12.

The Rock, or John Cena.

Rocky is winning by a little over 10K votes (19K to 9K), but if enough people complain...

(I'd actually switch my vote to CM Punk but that's besides the point. If someone wins, that's it. Done.)

You need to take a step back.

Right now you are feeling what a lot of people felt during the first poll:  That it was rigged.  That is, that the one thing that we haven't gotten in the first 2 games was good long hairstyles, and so if you only create one model to vote on with an attractive long hairstyle, then of course that one is going to win. It felt like Bioware was herding people in to voting for Blonde Shep, even if they wanted Shep to be a red head.

In my opinion, there's a long-standing view that FemShep is a red head; partly because of the original default preset, and partially because Jennifer Hale does a lot of voices for red heads (and is a redhead herself).  So to make the one 'good' hair choice NOT be redhead was kind of offensive to some people.

Mind you, i am not one of those people:  I wanted a short haired shep.  But failing that, I did think that she should have been red head.

This second poll is actually MUCH MORE FAIR than the first one, because it acknowledges that people liked the hairstyle, and only the hairstyle, of the winning choice, and that given the chance they would vote for a redhead.  Many  people stated this at the time.  This vote is basically going to prove it to be true.


You can't take a stance of having offense done to you, when this second vote is just fixing the unfairness of the first vote.  You benefitted when the vote was unfair; now you're seeing what it's like to have a fair vote, and you feel betrayed.  Well...
