Well, you won't be able to do that with the high res. default. At least not on the console version.

Honestly, though, I'm expecting/hoping for a FemShep Pack for DLC where you can download all the original six as presets.(Sure, I'd like it to come with the game as shipped, but we all know that'd NEVER happen)

That'd be horrible. Cause if they made that many options for fem Shep default, they'd have to do the same for Sheploo. BioWare loves to do things in the name of equality (like this democracy) but they just keep digging more holes for themselves cause some fans are just never happy.

Edit: If people really care they much about hair colour then they should be fine to take the lower res just so they can have the bloody colour. The majority is getting what they want clearly, so that should be all that matters.

A large number o people i talked to wanted #5 but with a different hair color. Bioware noticed and made a second poll to get things straight. and based on the voting it seems to be the right call. Bioware goes out of their way here to give fans what they want and they still find something to complain about. hilarious really.

Pretty much, I liked #1,but I knew she wouldn't win,but I didn't start a flame war over it.

Hey, I never meant for it either. But was #1 attacked like #5 was, or the current winning vote for that matter? I don't see any "Gingers shouldn't win because they're ****s and bimbos" or any of that. Certainly not from me, ever. Not in the first round, nor the second.  So you see, there's a difference.

So on the live feed they pretty much said femshep would get a ton more hairstyle options in responce to a question whether the rest of the femshep hairstyle designs woul be featured in there.
I myself am very pleased with that answer.

Me too. :innocent:

I hope the same for maleshep as well.

Except for the one that is winning is #2 face, not #5 that was the original winner.
I dont care about the hair color, but i would prefer her without freckles and with blue eyes like #5

I dont like the fact that to the most popular hair color, they added a different face at their convenience, making the first poll a joke.
The handling of this have been very bad

Then vote for the blond version? I mean, really. Obviously, most poeple don't mind a bit of freckles and green eyes. The default preset female Shepard from ME2 has a light brushing of freckles and I don't think I have ever seen anyone complain about her having them.

As far as I remember GingerShep with freckles was Jenifer Hale's personal favorite. Maybe they added #2 face because they wanted to do her a favour.

jennifer hale didn't want barbie. The true raison, people. So a new poll. A new reason to be outraged.

* tries to enter among those that prophesy the conspiracy anti-blonde. *

Tis just a hair colour. If ya want blonde so bad, just change it in the customization.

@ gamer_ girl, But its not "just a hair color" -- To quote myself :P

There are so many reason why I voted for this "Default" FemShep -- From an aesthetic point of veiw. She is far from a typical looking blonde. She does not look like a Californian type of blonde.(Not that
there is anything wrong with them --As Jerry Seinfield might put it Posted Image ) She does not have a tan out of a bottle looking skin either.

1. I find the contrast of her fair skintone with her dark lush eyelashes and eye-liner to be quite striking.

2. Her thick blonde hair is of the same variety as Brad Pitt.

I think the PRIMARY reason why I have voted for her and defended her in other threads. Is not b/c I have been told and (supposedly conditioned) by the mainstream media that "this is what a woman should look like."

NO... For me, in a real sense -- Voting for FemShep 5 was my way of giving the "Middle Finger" to that nonesense said about humans with blonde hair
and blue eyes in the Mass Effect Novels.
Posted Image

Apparently, we are suppose to believe that even though people with blonde hair and blue eyes have walked this Earth for thousands of years.By BioWare's reckoning, they should be a rarity in only a little over 175 years time
from now.BioWare Please... Posted Image

Seeing as how FemShep and ManShep are defying extinction in Mass Effect 3.It occured to me, that having an endangered species like a natural blonde in the Mass Effect Universe being on the forefront of the War against
the Reapers.Doing all within their power to defeat the reapers.Could have a bit more signifigance. If it was a blonde. For she embodies a kind
of irony and  "Poetic Justice" if you will... Posted Image

I'm starting to think people are getting confused on the reason for what the voting was mostly for. The whole point of mainly is for they can market Fem Shep. Having to be able to play the new Fem shep in the game is mostly a bonus to me.

Honestly, I don't think anyone is that confused. I think they understand why there was a first poll and why there was a second, and why the Shep they like didn't win.

This isn't about understanding, it's about ME ME ME WHAT I WANT IS MOST IMPORTANT. That's why it's gone to 50+ pages.

Sounds exactly like you after blonde Shepard won.

I did, in fact, i voted for all 3 that have #5 face. But as i said, they added the most popular color to a different face and everybody think that they're the same, because thats how it should had been in the first place, but is not the case.

I'm not the only one bothered by it, but others just ignore those posts saying the poll is fair and what else. I was happy that the face i liked win, but now they took that away from the nothing

First of all, did the Mass Effect Novels really say that?  It just seems unbelievably tacky and if they did, I'd feel even better about my decision not to read them.

Secondly, the good news is that if RedShep wins, the same 'logic' would apply and a similar finger will have been given.Posted Image

Its funny, but they indeed say that blonde is very rare in MassEffect universe, and as i can recall we encounter more redheads in the game that blondes also

Except you can't, not with the default model.  Assuming the default femShep is finally going to get the Sheploo treatment with a higher quality head morph and skin texture you'll never be able to recreate any of the other femShep.  If they would let us change hair/eye color and get rid of the ginger freckles femShep is going to have now all would be well, but that doesn't seem to be likely.

I still don't see the problem blonde first round she lost second.
Bioware thought a lot of people liked the hair style but not the color so they held another vote. Guess what people didn't vote for blonde.

Second round barely has as many votes total as #5 had by herself first round.  Once gingerShep reaches 35K+ votes in round 2 I'll shut up.

Surely you can provide a quote from Fata Morgana to back up this accusation of hypocrisy.

Femshep #5 has 31,436 likes on FB. Red 5 currently has 16,678. IOW, in a bit under two days she's already gotten more than halfway to the number it took Blondie over three weeks to accrue.

IIRC, they also say that blue/green eyes are also almost non-existant in the books.  And TONS of characters in the game have light eyes: Joker, Zaeed (his good eye is a dark green), Dr. Chakwas, Sheploo himself, and even Khalisah al-Jilani.  I just don't understand why they said that in the books.

One of the arguments against Blondie Shep was the supposed rarity of her coloring in the future, which is why it truly confuses me that the even rarer red hair/green eyes combo is sweeping the other options.  ::shrug::

Drew bought into an old urban myth, and whoever edited either didn't catch it or didn't know any better. Blonde hair and blue eyes would become proportionally rarer as human populations mixed more and more, but unless there were actual selection pressures against those traits, the responsible alleles wouldn't be eliminated from the gene pool (it could conceivably happen via genetic drift, but the probabilty of that is really, really low).
