I have appreciated Bioware allowing us to have a chance to vote on what femShep would look like. I think if they didn't and just threw something out there people would be just as upset they took little time in designing her or whatever bull crap they can pull out of their butts to complain about.

We want femShep to get attention! She's our kickass heroine! As long as they don't change her behavior, her personality, as long as they don't put her in skin tight catsuit or barely their armor like the countless female game protagonist out there, I'm happy! I don't think her appearance matters that much to who she is. This is just for advertising purposes and box art. What she looks like in the game is up to the player, and there you can be as individualistic and creative as you friggen want.

I honestly don't like the fact they are doing a second vote though and I really hope this is the last. Too much negative publicity, there was already a winner (people shouldn't have voted for that person if they didn't like the friggen hair color), and again, her appearance isn't that important that we have to do another vote for the friggen hair color.

I feel like I'm in a women's salon, but I'll just have to deal with it for now cause there's no point in crying about it.

Now Bioware, give her an awesome a trailer. Pretty please! No more of this silly appearance stuff.

I think everyone would have been okay with blondeShep if she had been blonde from the beginning.
But blonde out of nowhere when she had been red for the past two games? That's why blondeShep bothers me. Same for brunetteShep and I am a brunette.

I was among the people who cried for red hair, but I have never imagined anyone could ever seriously not like blondeshep due to some stereotype regarding blonde women.  That whole discussion was something I wish we could have gotten past.... I know..wishful thinking..

Still, femshep is a redhead. I still think that is a fact.

Well, breaking down the new options(personally)-

Black works. I like it.

Blonde really works. Still my vote. But again, voted out of principle as I'm against a second poll.

Brunette is WAY generic. Screw that.

Redhead is too fiery. I'd prefer a Strawberry Blonde, so its not really for me.

Oh yeah it was totally correct to ignore 30,000 people that voted for femshep 5 and didn't make a comment.  Yep it was totally correct to do a second round of voting based on a SMALL minority of comments.

I voted for FemShep 5 because she was blonde, I see no reason to vote again.  In fact why should I even waste my time voting ?  They will just totally ignore the result and do a "do over" till the minority get what they want.

Femshep 5 is still there to vote for.

But for me and many many others who voted for Femshep 5 in the first vote because we preferred the hairstyle (which is why we have a  second vote according to BW) can now vote for a hair color.

I dont see any anti-blonde sentiment in the voting as there are 2 blonde sheps to choose from. Just sounds like sour grapes to me.

Probably, BSN people can be rather petty like that however I don't think worth getting angry over if happens. Even if don't get colour want will still get style voted for and vice versa.

Or atleast in my case. I voted Blonde shep in first round because liked the style, this time around im happy with any colours that wins. Preference black, brunette and blonde but even if red wins I'm ok with that as I still get style I picked.

Honestly, Bioware could have stuck with original default Femshep and we would have gotten basically the same result. Which is probably the take-home point here.

I'm okay with this outcome, but I found it eye-opening how much people hated on blonde femshep just because she was blonde. We've developed a pretty nasty set of stereotypes against blondes it would seem. I liked model #5 as much for her expression as the hair. For all that people thought 1-3 and 5 looked the same, there were subtle differences in eyes and jawset. The truth is I thought 5 looked the fiercest, like just the cast of her jaw and the glint in her eye said she was ready to beat someone down.

Bottom line though is that we only have a week to go to the trailer, and I'm excited for that at least.

The femshep trailer? I don't think there's gonna be a FemShep one in a week (i wouldn't mind being pleasantly surprised...for a change)

They said it would debut at PAX, which is on the 26-28th. Today's the 17th, so it's a little over a week, but still, week and a half.

Did they? I thought they meant the results of the 2nd vote would be announced at Pax. I would really luv it if there was a trailer next week. I thought there was gonna be one today<_<

I voted #5 for every element of what she looked like. Which is why this bugs me.

I voted for one, the one I voted for won, and now I have to vote again and see the exact same image that I previously voted for lose.

Part of that is definitely my fault, as its opinion and natural emotion taking effect.

But that doesn't mean I have to like it or sit down and take it.

I don't know if the redhead is actually red or ginger, but I prefer ginger hair, maybe cause of Amy Pond from Dr. Who.

Still, voted for that one. I actually don't care which ends up winnig (Betting for redhead) 'cause I care more for her face than her hair. Still, she looks great!
