Seriously, who gives a f*ck what haircolor femShep has (except for desperate fans who have nothing better to do than worrying about a character's haircolor)?

Are you seriously asking who cares about hair color except for those who care about hair color?
That could explain the inanity of the first part of your post... Well, to answer you, I care.

For the debate concerning the change of shepard. I agree with those who says you can't change the rules during the game. Even if you have good reason to do so, it's still wrong. If a right extreme party won an election only because the people were angry against the government and didn't think their vote would affect the outcome of the election, the party still won. Even if the people who voted for them didn't do it for the right reasons and are regretting it.

And I'm not fighting for blond shepard, I like her but the red-haired one please me exactly as much and is winning (I'll vote for these two)

I was just watching BW Pulse and they said that you will pretty much be able to recreate any fem Shep that didn't win if you so choose using the character creator. So bam. Problem solved.

That was already determined in the original contest. Didn’t do a bit of good saying it back then either.I doubt it will work this time.

Hahahaha really? Wow people just like complaining for the sake of complaining then. BW confirmed that it's possible as they're adding a ton of crap to the character creator, so really why do people still have a big stink about it? Is it REALLY that big of a deal if the Shep you like is on the tin that you (not you, but the people that are complaining haha) might not be getting anyways? I'm sure there are people out there that don't like Sheploo, but you don't see them complaining that their Shep won't be on the tin. Reality check - some people here are in desperate need of one.

I guess you forgot about the thousands and thousands of whiners against #5. I actually see less of what happened before and the fact no one against poll #2 has yet resorted to writing 4+ hate articles about someone’s hair color.

This actually means one thing, that this femshep is way more consensual than the older one and that Bioware made the right move. This isn't a game. And yeah I do remember the whining. Oh my utterly ridiculous.

Actually, since whinebabys from the first contest got their way I see less whining from them and now I just see a load of excuses why it was ok for Bioware not to hold true to their own words of what they called their contest. I might remind them now that Biwoare for all we know, could do this again. They already showed they can‘t commit to the first contest title. Whose to say they will for this one?  Heck, they could even go back to the original winner if they wanted too. I wonder how people from poll #2 would feel about that if it happened.

This kinda reminds me of the palestinian conflict. I wonder why.

Oh, and I recently checked into the numbers out of curisoity because I’ve been seeing a bunch of people on sites I visit daily saying they weren’t going to vote this time around for Poll #2. I would have to conclude they must be keeping to their word.

1st place winner(red hair) is only ahead by 2nd place(black hair) by 6,386(as of typing this around 9:15ish AM)

I’m pretty sure at the same amount of days (or even less If memory serves me right) #5 the original was already 10,000/14,000 ahead of 2nd place. With a landslide victory in a few days.

And the others are only around 5,500ish votes each. That’s not a lot of people voting this time around compared to last. Due to many things I would presume(too lazy to list) Just an interesting thing to look at.

The insinuation that the blondie voters ragequitted and that's the reason why redshep is winning sounds too silly to be taken seriously. But people need to believe in it, I'm not going to steal your religion from you.

Oh, and I wouldn't be so certain to declare red hair the winner yet, It's Bioware, they could troll the winner at anytime

Schadenfreude much? Honestly, I don't care. But that would really surprise me. In the first vote I was thinking "what the hell where they thinking?", didn't sound right, the choices, etc. But I didn't mind when I saw the blondie, I figured "hey what the hell, why not a blondie". The second was a good move, IMO, because it went to pick many people's concerns. Now I don't know any other case of this happening, this is quite the novelty, so I also excuse bioware for their mistakes. It's also all in great fun, and really all the fuss just blows my head off.

Congratulations, you just compared this funny voting process that is just a quick nod to the fans with the election that took the nazzi party to power.

I'm sure there's a kind of a law in argumentation about this.... let me check I'll get back at ya.

BioWare should stop wasting time on trivial stuff like femShep's haircolor and actually start fixing up ME3! Judged on the gameplay demo's, ME3 is FAR from finished and the animations looked simply awful!

So BioWare, STOP WASTING TIME and start focussing on stuff that actually matters!

Seriously, who gives a f*ck what haircolor femShep has (except for desperate fans who have nothing better to do than worrying about a character's haircolor)?

Have you ever heard of multitasking?

Even if BioWare would use only 2 designers to create a new femShep, that's a loss of 2 designers that could otherwise be working on the actual game.

I understand that BioWare tries to shine a bit more light on femShep and give her some attention too, but this is getting ridiculous.

You know nothing of game management, you know nothing about marketing, you should just stop whatever the hell you think you are doing.

No, I'm basically asking why a normal person would give a damn about default femShep's haircolor.

No I don't. I actually get readings about this crap at school. Do you? Now please, stop with the ad-homs and stop acting so butt-hurt. We're talking about a default character's haircolor, HER HAIRCOLOR!

Seriously, don't you have anything better to do than worrying about the HAIRCOLOR of a character you'll probably aren't going to play more than once? (we probably all have imports ready with our own custom Sheps)

You hardcore fans need to get real and worry about stuff that actually matters, such as the crappy character animations that the last gameplay-trailer of ME3 showed.

@ Luc0s: So I'm asking why a normal person would be asking about stupid things like animations or graphics when they sould worry about story and rpg element?

Even if you were probabilistically right with which Arkitekt seems to disagree, your post would be inept.

Okay let me just ask this to all of you then:

How often do you think you're going to use the default female Shepard in ME3?

That's because these questions make all these people realize how silly they actually are to make such a huge deal out of something so trivial.

I'm far beyond school my boy.

You join a thread where people are debating X, and start punishing everyone for talking about X. I mean, I can feel your pain, I also think it is ridiculous the level of "concern" that some people reach, but hey perhaps they have not better things to do, perhaps they are bored. The whining is pretty ridiculous, but you are actually demonizing everyone that simply talks about the issue.

That's called "trolling".

LOL, please enlighten us Oh Mightly Moralizer, to the deeds of where we should put our brains into.

Not worried too much. Still too soon to be worried at that kind of detail. First they build the story, then they paint the vistas, work out the techs, design the levels, design the characters, weapons, gameplay, there's just so much. And it's all still a big work in progress. I'm pretty sure they'll work those kinds of things out (the glitches remind me of ME1 movements, which were worked out fine in ME2).

@Luc0s:  You seem to be forgetting this is about publicity as well.  Its generated a lot.  So much so that Bioware feel its worth their time and the time of a couple of members of the team.

If they felt it was not going to benefit them and the game then they wouldnt do it.

Ha! exactly. And what's even more funny is that most of the people whining use their own custom Shepards anyway.

No, I never said I demonize people who simply talk in this thread (I'm talking in this thread, so that would mean I'd also demonize myself). I'm simply stating that the level of concern that some people here have about how the default female Shep should look like, while 99% of these people have their own custom Shep that they're going to import, is simply ridiculous.

I'm not trolling, I'm simply pointing out that some of these people here should get real about the issue. If you think that's trolling than you know nothing about trolling.

I'm also getting tired of BioWare dragging this whole "vote for your femShep" out beyond acceptable proportions. What's next? Are we going to vote for her eye-color after this? When will this madness stop?

Honestly, the original idea of letting people vote for their favorite femShep design was kinda cool, but this is just getting ridiculous. So my previous post was not only a rant towards the hardcore fans, but more so towards BioWare.

Yes and that's exactly my point.
