Because that is NOT what they are going to get is it.  The winner of poll 2 is actually Femshep 2 with long red hair it's just the pictures on facebook do not show that.

Number one motivation for businesses is profit. To get more profit, you need to please more potential buyers. And if you're gonna do something that will make some potential buyers mad, then the most important thing to do is make sure that the number of potential buyers you're making happy is a higher number. Pure and simple.

That's why PR departments try to put a positive spin on anything the company does, irregardless of how silly or defying of common sense it is to make the claims they are. Case in point: A company selling liquid refreshments in my country started to put less produuct in the bottles and made a PR campaign advertising that despite the price being the same it resulted in a better product that there were less in the bottles now...

And you are forgetting one important factor: Companies are run by humans. Do I really need to reminds you about how big failings throughout history there have been done because of humans in positions of power?

The fact of the matter is that the voting is on facebook. Any other photos are irrelevant. The amount of people that have actually seen that specific episode of BW Pulse compared to the amount of total voters is incredibly small. People on fb are voting on hair colour. That's just how it is.

A vast minority play FemShep, an even SMALLER minority play with a default appearance for FemShep. Theoeretically, Bioware shouldn't be kow-towing to anyone here and yet they are because a vocal minority got their attention.

I agree that the whole vote was rather silly in the first place (but it was a generous decision in my mind), but the likelihood that they added a second poll blindly is very slim. That's far too risky.

The high res shots are only on BW Pulse actually. But these were taken from it.



I didn't even notice the differences when I looked at this. Someone had to point them out to me. They're very minor.

And colour differences even exist among the blue eye colours if you look close enough.

They can't please everyone and doing more polls solves little in my opinion.

Also as I said the redheaded that is winning is like Jane Shepard. Which is stupid because the whole point of the votation was to change her appearence.

EDIT : They don't all have green eyes, I noticed thanks to the picture. From the pics on FB it looks like they all had.

I did notice, inmediatly, even from the facebook page i realize something was not right when changing the pictures, and i thought "wait what? is not that fem #2?"

I dont care about her hair color, but i do want her to have blue eyes and a smooth face, but that will not happen anymore isnt?, even when i was part on the winners from first round

Ok I just asked an impartial to look at the photos, both high res and not, and she didn't notice a difference aside from the mole missing in the red head. And here's the funny part. She's a bloody art major.

That's fine then you must  agree with the statement that the winner of these two polls is blue  eyed, pale faced with a mole and long red hair.  If people cannot see the changes done to red femshep then people must naturally be voting on the hair colour (which the poll was designed for).  Then the only winner is FemShep 5 with long red hair.  But that isn't what is going to happen, we will get Femshep 2 + long red hair.  Hardly anyone voted for FemShep 2 in the first poll so why the hell is she in the 2nd ?

Personally I would say freckles are a prominent feature (perhaps not as prominent as hair colour), but they are certainly "in your face" just like the absence of the mole.  That doesn't change the fact that no one voted for freckles or green eyes so why the hell are they in the 2nd poll ?  The clear winner of poll 1 was Femshep 5 with blue eyes, pale face and a mole.
