Meh.

I dislike her hairstyle, so changing its colour makes no difference to me. Not that I plan on using the default anyway.

Because having a child is the same significance as a video game poll for sure. Not to mention all parents are absolutely that superficial and won't love their child if they don't have said eye colour and hair colour. >_>

It was an example. If you don't see the comparison I don't care, but don't troll.

I know most people would not be happy considering the kind of people that go to artificial insemination programs. They mostly go to specific sites where they can choose how they want their child to look like.

The point is if they ask you what you want and you get something different you're not going to be very happy. At least some people.

It's like christmas presents. If they asked you what you want, and then bought you something different, wouldn't you be at least a bit deceived? I would.

Yes, you might like it regardless, but you did not ask for that.

It's called voting. Not everyone gets what they want.

Just because I see your analogy as ridiculous doesn't mean I'm a troll. Meaning of the word - totally not getting it.

A Christmas present is also a terrible analogy. People don't do a mass vote on which present every single person will get. Never mind the fact that there's an "exchange policy" for the "gift" that is ME3 FemShep called a character creator.

Ok, so far we've got that FemShep's appearance is exactly as important as:

- A national election
- The birth of one's child

I don't think we're trying hard enough for melodrama here, folks. Work a little harder at it!

I love it when any time someone here is shown how unreasonable they're being, they instantly throw out accusations of trolling.

I don't understand this at all. If someone invested time to buy me a present with money they had to work for and it wasn't my choice then I will certainly not feel deceived. I would be grateful. You can always change it for something else. No harm done.

Not everyone gets what they want. Ironic that you're using that to defend your point.

Voting, yes.

Which is why there shouldn't have been any second chances to begin with.

30,000 people voted for #5.

But no! Let's genuinely give a second chance and change her hair color!

Oh, wait, we forgot to add we changed her face too!! But you voted in a picture on FB where the differences are hardly noticebale, so you get what you vote! :TrollFace

Bioware is clearly doing what they want and the whole contest it's just a joke now.

They're just making people upset. Now instead of tonly he people that were upset because their choice didn't win, we have those, and the people who didn't like the second round, in addition to people who don't like that BW changed the #5 face, in addition to people who just don't care, etc etc

As I said I voted already and I don't care, I will respect who wins, what I am upset about is how Bioware is doing all the tricks and changes they want.

Unfortunately I don't think many people think like that in today's society. I personally have never rejected a present, but other people think differently and I have seen it a lot.
Whatever, I'm trying to say that people (at least some people) are going to get upset because they thought they voted for something else.

Point is that they're looking to satisfy a majority. That's how marketing works. They won't try to please a very small group of people because that's just plain stupid if you're aiming to make any kind of profit.

I can't help but laugh at the picture Pulletlamer has presented to us: Pulletlamer being given a gift by someone who likes him, and hopes he likes the present. Pulletlamer opens the present and sees it is not what he wanted. Pulletlamer shouts angrily, throws the present at the gift-giver, and says, "This isn't what I wanted!" Hilarious.

The majority was the people that voted in round one. 30,000 people for #5.

The minority asked for hair changes and BW did a second round.

It would have been easier if they just ended the poll there.

If another would have won, nobody (or almost, impossible to be sure, of course) would be asking for hair changes. This was (on part, at least) all due to the fact that a lot of people don't accept blonde hair and all the prejudices out there. It's sad.

Wrong, on FB you can't dislike something.

That's your problem right there. You have no way of knowing how many people of the ones that voted for blondie actually had that complaint. Logic tells us it's the majority of said people given that blonde Shep is now losing first of all, and second of all BW actually made a second poll - something they likely wouldn't have done if they knew they wouldn't be pleasing the majority.

You know me? No, right? Then don't say how I am or put me in a scenario like that. It was an example that I have seen with my eyes happen. And often. Most of the time the person in question didn't reject the present but went secretly to change it at the store. Besides I just said you might not like it, not that you will say that in front of who's giving it to you.

Anyway, you're missing the point and only willing to get it with me, so I'm just going to ignore you.

Actually you can. I've done it a couple of times now on the different FemSheps.

This is still going? Redhead won. It's locked at this point. She's gonna be the official Jane. At this point fans of other Janes should focus on persuading BW to include all hairstyles and faces in the CC because nothing will change the fact redhead won.

Haha but then people will always find reasons to complain. If they do that, someone will make a stink. There's always people who are just looking to complain for the sake of getting attention.

I am sure you meant to say Femshep 5 + red hair won.

Yeah that is how we ended up with a second vote.

No I don't know, but what I know is that if 30,000 people #5, and now they're voting for #2 with some modifications it's easy to assume that either:

-They are voting with a wrong impression of what they're voting for.

-Part of that people are people that voted for other choices. Happens usually in contests (Gamespot for example).

So don't start with the "Majority decides" and democracy and etc.

Democracy would have been voting for the one you like from the beginning, and accepting the vote of the "majority".

I personally, as I said on previous threads (I know you probably don't care at all, but whatever, just so you know) numerous times, I voted #5 because I liked the face and the hair style, but wouldn't mind another colour.

It's just that I consider wrong doing a second round. It's not democracy. In democratical elections you don't make various votings and then see who wins or choose it "on average" or something like that. <_<

Democratical elections are one chance. It's not the perfect system, but it's what it is. Saying now that the majority has won and it has been democratical it's laughable.

The second chance was given because some people asked on twitter for hair changes and drawed some pictures of how they'd like FemShep to be.

EDIT: Never noticed the unlike button, I know you can't dislike but didn't know you can "unlike".

Did I once even mention democracy in this?

"That's your problem right there. You have no way of knowing how many people of the ones that voted for blondie actually had that complaint. Nope. Your points are irrelevant to the context.

BW is catering to the most popular opinion. The most popular opinion amongst the last poll's blonde Shep supporters was "I like the hairstyle, but I want a different colour."

I haven't seen too many red Shep supporters in poll 2 saying "I would prefer if her freckles were gone or if her eyes were blue". No they're pretty damn satisfied, and that's all that matters.

No, but you're using the majority as an excuse to defend your "arguments", if you have any, besides saying mine are irrelevant or quoting yourself again.

This is a poll here on BSN about changing the hair color. Most people were already happy and didn't care.

It's on a small scale but still they're valid opinions.

Also I saw the comments on FB asking for hair color changes but still it's as inaccurate to assume that the majority wanted another color as it is to assume they all wanted blonde.

I only know we voted for something and that should have been what we should get. It's the most fair decision.

And finally most people on BSN were happy at the end. You can see that a lot of people also defended #5 on the "Blonde for the win.huh" thread here on the forums.
