Now if you had a poll that consisted of all original blonde Shep voters and not an incredibly small fraction of them, that I would find interesting.

It's kind of funny that you think that poll makes some kind of point. 144 voters out of the tens of thousands...

I haven't seen too many red Shep supporters in poll 2 saying "I would prefer if her freckles were gone or if her eyes were blue". No they're pretty damn satisfied, and that's all that matters.

I could say the same of your 43 votes... so now you're just contradicting yourself and being kind of a troll.

Hey guys if you dislike the one who wins, just keep b*tching and Bioware will have another vote...

Never once did I use my poll as
evidence. Nor do I plan to. I just want to see what the average BSN user
thinks. Quit calling me a troll. You're just putting your foot in your

I called him/her a kind of a troll because he said it as if BSN polls were not legitimate or relevant.
Which is ironic because we're on BSN, were we're supposed to be the most "true" fans.

Then why you cared to open a poll? You're contradicting yourself.gamer_girl wrote...
Because they are irrelevant. They don't necessarily contain the people who voted, nor the huge number of
people that voted. You can't use those kind of statistics in an argument.

If anything, I think you're a more true fan if you refuse to visit BSN out of respect for Bioware.

Why did you create a poll if you already think it's irrelevant and it doesn't matter? Honestly.

More for me I see true fans as the ones that let BW decide for themselves what they do - the ones that aren't constantly whining and complaining about said choices they've made. If you don't like it, don't buy the game. Pure and simple. No point in being so butt hurt. Constructive criticism is very dissimilar to insolence.

I made a poll out of curiosity, not to use it as a feeble defense for a debate. That's not how I roll.
You misunderstand. The polls are useless in an argument. Not useless in general.

You don't know how I am so don't try to judge other persons. You don't have any rights to tell me what I should do or not, so now if you wish leave personal attacks out of the argument, it's the second time you do it. Thanks.

I don't respect those people any more than you do. I think they're ridiculous. When did I ever say I agreed with them? Never. I also never said you were one of the whiners did I? Don't put words in my mouth.
All I ever said is that BW's decision is completely valid.

I don't say you accusated me directly, but you're saying people complain about everything as if I was one of them.
I don't like to complain but when I found out that they have changed one face I don't see that as a valid decision.
I mean, valid in the sense that we fans will get what we want. I don't think changing the face is a valid decision when you're in theory voting for the hair color.
It all comes to that in the end it makes me angry that BW seems to be doing what they want and the constest was just an illusion of choice.

In some ways it likely is. They want to please the most possible, and if this is the way to do it, that's a damn good decision. Just the way it is. I wouldn't get mad at any company for knowing what would attract the most sales. People like red head Shep 2, and were dissatisfied with blonde Shep. Just the way it is.

What I was trying to tell you is that YOU cannot judge other fans as being somehow unworthy because they don't come to BSN. There's a lot of vitriol against Bioware here at BSN, so why would it make a person a more true fan to be here? If you're going to make that argument at all (which I am not), then a 'true' fan would stay away from BSN, because they don't like to see people talk about how much Bioware sucks because of dumb, trivial things like Facebook polls.

This, pretty much. It's valid because the choice was always in Bioware's hands. They gave us some input, and I'm grateful for that, even though the Shep I wanted didn't win. I still think it's cool of them.
