It is obviously NOT childish since that is EXACTLY what people did when FemShep 5 won the last contest and hey presto they threw a tantrum and got a second round of voting.  So I would say throwing a tantrum seems to work well and is obviously the only feedback Bioware ever pays attention too.

As to my two cents, while not giving a rats ass about which one would have won, seeing I really just wanted femshep period.. I'm seriously unamused by this second voting round.
We're going into this second round with the forethought of a f*ckton of blonde hate, and that negative publicity has no doubt now attracted way more people to the vote to cast their biased opinion on it which effectively boycotted her changes the second time around and basically screws over one group in favor of the other, because they were loud after Blondy won.

They behave exactly like those they denounced some time ago. We see when the curve is against them, as things change. And the drama by some is really funny.

There was a TON of blonde haters. Not hating blonde because its blonde, but hating it because of the stereotypes associated with the hair color.

So people banded together to back up and defend those with blonde hair, fighting the stereotype, trying to open people's eyes to their own ignorance,

aaaaaaand now it turns out that it doesn't matter because blondie's not a shoe in to win anyway.

THAT's my issue. If there wasn't all this controversy over a blonde winning and the second poll came up, I'd have no problem with it.

Hell, I SUGGESTED it a long time ago. But I feel like everything I said defending blondes is now going in one ear and out the other because all the stereotype supporters are gonna go, "lalalalala, blondie's not gonna win".

As someone with black and brown hair with stray blonde and red hairs due to my background and ethnicity, I try to support everyone and look at all sides.

But I feel like the fight to defend blondes is now moot.

I was one of the many supporters of Blonde Shepard (Even though I wanted #3) I mostly saw a lot of Blonde dislike because blondie won and they were saying most of the people who were voting are males who don't even play fem shep and just want a hot blonde. This second round basically proves them wrong.

It seems like they threw a little extra attention into the Redhead.

Freckles, green eyes, the removal of the beauty mark.

The rest are exactly the same barring the hair color.
