On the 360- I hit "Y" and then put in the code as it is on the card but then i get a invalid code message once i enter the code.
I've tried in lower case and in caps as well.
The letters are unmistakable, but,  I still tried variations that I thought to be possible mistypes.
I have been pouring over the forums to find a solution but nothing as of yet.
Any one know of a fix? I also went on line and tried redeeming the code that way as well.
It now tells me (online) that the content is ready for download ( qued) but, the 360 does't show it ready for download.

I am having the same problem with the blood dragon armor code. I e-mailed bioware but Ihave not heard back from them. I hope there is a fix to this soon.

I have the same problem with my Shale code. Whenever I enter it, it tells me it is an invalid code.

Still waiting for a reply from EA and BIOWARE. Neither of the two will reply to me. Seems customer "NO SUPPORT" is in effect with them.

Seems I may need to get "CLARK HOWARD" from wsb to crack this case!

More than likely the code was used by an employee of the establishment where the person purchased their game. I've had that happen to me 3 times already, but SE, Activision, and even EA fixed things for me.

OP; if you still have yet to get a response, go to EA's website and get their Customer Service phone number. Calling them will be faster than going through the forums, as the Moderators are already up to their necks in flame posts. Good luck with your problem solving.

I have been having the same problem since day one. I bought the collector's edt. and none of the codes work. EA knows about it and are very slow to email me back and i can't get any one on the phone. They are aware of the problem and have a fix for it, just getting it from them is a pain in the ass. I must have emailed them 6 or 7 times now. They have sent me a response that i need to input a 20 digit code to get my other codes to work on their web, but they have not sent me one, so i am waiting for that email. Each resonse from them takes 7 days or more, even though their sites says the respond within 24hrs. When i get everything from them that doesnt confuse the hell out of me I'll let everyone know.

Only 2 possibilities here:



1) Someone used your code.....if you got the case open or another gamer that lives with you.



2) You're not entering it correctly....be careful for similarities like 1 and I, 8 and B, 5 and S and so on. It took me over ten tries to download my Stone Prisoner DLC because I kept putting an S instead of a 5 in one place.

No that isn't the problem. There are not enough numbers and letters in the codes i recieved with my game. When i type it in you can see that im missing about 9 letters and numbers.



My codes look like this. 3LT2-XTKJ-8TGH-BP98 when they should look like 3LT22-XTKJJ-8TGHH-BP988-HUGFD As you can see I am missing part of my code, as if they sent one for a different region than the U.S.

Wait are you entering this at the game's ingame dlc screen or at the xbox dashboard? Because the codes are correct it's only 12 characters that way it's a cross-platform code. Regular Xbox codes are 25 characters but these aren't regular codes.

I have tried both neither works, and believe me I have tried like 30 times each. I have contacted EA and they told me they were aware of the problem, it's just getting an answer from them or any kinda of response takes 7 to 14 days.

That is the problem they take forever to respond to any emails, and i can never get anyone on the phone.

The code is right but it is NOT an XBL code. Do NOT try to redeem it on XBL because it is futile. It is an EA code that can be redeemed by going into the game and from the main menu log in to the EA servers, select "Downloadable Content" and press Y.......this will bring up the screen to enter a code and this screen will accept 16 digit codes instead of the standard 25 digit codes that XBL uses. I had a bunch of codes from preorder and CE and all that and all of them were 16 digits long.....they worked fine.

I have tried that also. I have made sure all the numbers and letters were right double triple checked. My collector's edt. came with 3 different codes, none of them work. EA told me there was a problem with them, its just taking forever for them to get back to me.

Im also having problems with this crap. I go into the game to submit both codes and i double checked everything WITH A MAGNIFYING GLASS. My codes still wont work

i noticed that it said invalid code too when i entered it on the da game screen, but i then noticed that it said download for free, this is the shale part, the wardens keep i just downloaded from xboxlive. not sure about the armor, my husband downloaded it from xbox live i think....so if you go to downloadable content on the da title screen, go to redeem code, enter the 16 digit code, it will say invalid code, but if you look at the actual shale download it should say free download. i am thinking it is a communication error between xboxlive/bioware servers, but you should be able to get the free content.

The Blood Dragon armor is not and cannot be downloaded from XBL as it is not for purchase and there are no XBL codes to download it....there are only EA codes for it. So if he got it then he got it from the in-game DLC menu where he redeemed a 16 digit EA code.....that is the only way.

Holy success. I finally got the codes to work. No help from EA by the way, did not expect them to get back to me anyhow.



Here is what happened. I sat down with 3 of my friends, so that we all could see if any of us typed the codes in different, we put the game disc in the 360 went to the download section and hit Y on the controller.



That took us into the in game download for the 16 digit code (as Darth_Trethon points out ) we each tried, no luck. We decided the codes were right. (we all sat sown and wrote the codes on seperate papers and came up with the same codes every time).



So we keep trying, ya know just for the fun of it (dripping with sarcasm by the way) and on the third try for the code it accepted the code and downloaded it. I honestly think it had something to do with the server, not that the game has any bugs in it or anything Ha ha ha. We had to do each code a couple times.



Some like the dragon armor took 4 tries. I don't think it would be my connection, I run 2 360's at one time on my internet playing modern warefare 2 online without a hiccup and have never had any issues since I've been on live.
