 why are there two blonde options. It is a split vote. It is like al gore and nader vs. bush in 2000 election. I play male shep so I do not take it personally, but it is the principal of an innacurate representation and a flawed vote in an important election. Split votes suck. I am so fking frustrated. Please comment.

watch the bioware pulse episode. silverman clearly says "dirty blond." It is simply stupid to invaidate legitimate votes. Yes, I am taking this to seriously, but it is a frustrating issue. They simply ignored a popular vote. That is wrong.

Chances are most Femshep players will be using imported custom Shepards anyway, so voting on a default Femshep seems a tad pointless. There was nothing wrong with the original Femshep.

My comment is that even if you added the blonde and the brunette/dirty blonde's votes together, they'd still be coming third, so it doesn't matter.

Nothing stopping you from voting for both blonde and dirty-blonde. There is no strategy against blonde Shepard at work here because your vote is not exclusive.

But even combined the two blondes are lagging behind the other two Shepards at the moment, so right now their "defeat" wouldn't be due to a split vote.

It is the princiapal or disregarding the first LEGITIMATE vote. Due to complainers. It is like SPECiAL INTEREST GROUPS. They skrew the majority to get their way. That is how you end up with rich people paying low tax rates. Off topic, but it is the same idea.

What if this vote is invalid also. What is the official word. Either take what the fans say or decide for yourself as a company. This makes no sense.

They haven't disregarded the first vote... all the options in the second vote are almost exactly the same as the winner of the first vote, the only difference is the hair colour (and in redshep's case, the eye colour and freckles).

In comparison to the first vote's options for different face shapes, skin colour, hairstyles, etc, this vote is just a tweak.

Yep pretty much, all BW has done here is shown once again, how willing they are to cave if you whine enough. Great message to send, because now they will never hear the end of it. Every pixel that people don't like, they will complain until its fixed the way they want. They opened the flood gates on this one, should have manned up and stuck by your first vote.

still a tweak. you dont tweak votes. you give people what they voted for. like blonde femsheps and healthcare.

It's not like people have to take a day off from work in order to vote, nor do they have to inconvenience themselves by walking al lthe way to their local voting office or stand in line. It's facebook. Anyone who voted for blonde Shepard in the first round due to her hair colour can easily vote for either or both of the blonde options again in round two.

There's no problem.

The first round actually wasn't that legit because all of the Sheps had different hair styles, which is a very big factor. I myself, whose canon-Shepard is a redhead, voted for blonde Shepard (and Shep #1) because she had the most badass hairdo, while redhead Shep's hair was way too boring for me to want to see it on official promotion. So I for one appreciate the chance to vote for the hair colour, now that the hairstyle is locked in. In fact, it's exactly what I would have hoped for, and I didn't even complain.
