Only if the neutral options are snarky as hell.
Oh, I wish they would have made snarky options for neutral side, like they did on DA2. That game made me sad that Mass Effect didn't have option for smartass comments.

That reminds me, then I couldn't call my friend as "Renegade scum!". So these two are obviously needed. *nods sagely*

It would be interesting if crew & such reacted to your level of Paragon / Renegade etc. [I.E. judging by what you say & what you do] ...

Neutral = James Bond
Renegade = Jack Bauer
at least thats how it should be
McClain - tough, gruff, but ultimately altruistic
Bond - gets it done with style, willing to make some sacrifices but will put those close to him above anything else
Bauer - the end justifies the means

I think the point is that if you play either way exclusively, that they become caricatures of the ideal behind them.
It's hard to nail down the infinite shades of human personality and morality with just three choices.

I liked KOTORs morality system,you could be a dick and not be evil,you could be results oriented,you could play the game however you want and not be labeled....until you won and become the dark lord buaahahahaha.
Here's hoping that you can take over Cerberus.
