Hey everybody,
So I've been having this issue for a while where I'm unable to jump/goto certain areas via the DM Client Chooser. I click on the goto button, but nothing happens.
Is there some sort of fix? I've searched quite a bit and unfortunately haven't found any solution - although I'm pretty sure its not specific to my nwn version as I've had other people test with me and they have the same issue.
Any information would be greatly appreciated !
Thanks,
N.

try jumping to a way point in the area if you have any.

Use client extender by skywing ( it has separate list, and is by skywing )
Select something inside the area ( waypoint, creature, etc )
Probably can do a separate area picker ui eventually ( already have a list of all areas in module i gather on module load )
Might not have a valid point to land where it wants to put you, or some other issue like that.

You will not be able to port into areas that do not have a proper walkmesh in the very center of the map. What you have to do is open the chooser, expand the area that you want to jump to, open up the waypoints (or creatures if there are any) and jump to one of them and you'll port in just fine. You don't need the DM Client Extension to jump around, but it certainly wouldn't hurt it you get it. There are other functions that it has that would make it worth trying out.

Thanks guys, much obliged - I appreciate the help! I'll give the waypoint technique a shot. I actually tried using the Client Extension, and for some reason not all the zones showed up in the CE chooser ui. I didn't add the scripts though, so maybe that has something to do with it? Whatever the case, thanks for the heads up about the center walkmesh.
Best,
N.

I'd report what the issue is with the client extension ( get the latest version and seeing if it's still an issue ), then it would quickly be fixed by the author. Might be an issue on your module even, or some other rare occurance.
Too many folks go and use things, see some bug, then just give up on it. The community tools are only as good as we the community make them, and everyone has a part to play in that even the end users.
For me its perfect, but then i went and described the issues i've had with it, and for the most part had them fixed in a few days. It's not everything where you can get things tailored to exactly how you want them, but it does mean some effort up front.
