Edit: I decided to make this a discussion thread about our favorite Krogan, Wrex. I enjoy Wrex for the fact that he is a Krogan with a vision outside of disemboweling random people, not that I dislike other Krogan, they are my favorite species in Mass Effect. So feel free to chat about Wrex here, if anyone feels like posting funny or interesting pictures or signatures for Wrex, feel free to post them and I'll add them to the OP!

 I hope he gets a larger role in ME3, I always liked Wrex because he's a Krogan that actually looks beyond just mindlessly fighting, actually has a depth to his character. Not that I dislike Grunt, sheer violence is his deal, but I truly enjoy Wrex.

You'll see in every anti-popularity poll (of which there must be thousands now) that Wrex is always the least disliked character. He fills a gap in the command structure and does it perfectly with plenty of bad-ass. I think the fan bases for other characters are so prominent because their gross popularity is in contention, and everyone is compelled to get behind and establish their characters superiority over the others. At least that's the vibe I get.

OP has a good point actualy. But I suppose basicaly everyone likes him and basicaly no one dislikes him so his popularity doesnt need much support.

Wrex's awesomeness is beyond any discussion, so the thread is not necessary. He is the definition of Win.

Characters which are even slightly controversial need threads. For NPCs like Legion, Wrex and Mordin the majority of posts are "omg he is awesome", "oh my, I want him in ME3" and "I hope he plays a major role in ME3"
