Kelly who dies in the suicide mission.

That was definitely not my playthrough

Miranda who was a project head and worked somewhat closely with him in that reguard and had personal meetings with him as we know.

Miranda was likely one of TIMs top Cerberus operatives. Even Miranda said very few people are able to meet Cerberus.

And Jacob who it's unclear exactly how close he got to the illusive man himself personally but he was involved with more than one cerberus type project.

Consdering that the Shadow Broker said that losing Jacob would be a big loss to Cerberus (or he said crippling Cerberus) I'd say that Jacob was another one of TIMs top operatives.

Jacob always seemed like just a gun... a good gun mind you but just a gun. I feel Jacob got the 'crippling' dialogue because there was nothing else to say about him being taken out.

Miranda meets with TIM personally that alone makes her a very big player in Cerberus especially becaus she's the one trusted to create Shepard a project TIM spent 4 billion creds to do.

the thing with Jacob is what could he be off doing if you meet up with for a few mission in me3 unless he is with miranda helping her if she is not on the ship full time

on the ranks

http://masseffect.wi..._Military_Ranks

ash does not outrank shep she is promoted to lieutenant vommander for 3 and kaidan is a staff vommander come the 3rd game shepard is lieutenant vommander so only kaidan outranks shepard

the question is does shepards n7 status give him more seniority over kaidan

plus will they even have time to give the ship to a new commander I mean they have been taking it apart and rebuilding it while you have been under arrested I think anderson had the ship on stand by and who would he trust more then the vs to help if needed

Alright....I know this is..very late to mention, but....Wth is "VS"? and why would it/he/she/they have control of the SR2? I just got to this thread and I am beyond lost.

I think I should perhaps be potentially irate, but I'm not currently educated enough to have such an opinion and that in itself is frustrating to me.

Anyone? :?

PLC answered it.
Why did you have to revive an old and already necromanced thread for that particular question

Besides that, somehow I think half of the fandom never got the idea why the VS (aka Kaidan or Ashley) became CO of the Normandy SR2!refit ... and I don't bother with telling them. Logic. Use it wisely.

Ohhh...k../:> Well....I can "logically" see why the "VS" as the previously un-referenced acronym calls him/her(pardon my cluelessness, as I've been away for some time...), would be granted at least temporary command of the SR2.

But...like many others who preceeded, I would quite willingly remove either of them from the picture if that were the case and the option provided. Only imo, simply spacing them would be too bland. Not good enough. I'm thinking pistol to the face. Then maybe space them......

ANyway. Pardon for posting in a thread I might have an opinion on...I didn't know it was..wrong to do such a thing given the passage of a certain amount of time.

Thnx though for divulging the acronym.

Na, it's okay, Strife.
It simply was a really old topic ... maybe a new one would have been a better idea.
It's not exactly "wrong" ... it's "odd" or so.

VS = Virmire Survivor = either Ashley or Kaidan.

Besides that: once Shepard returns to the retrofitted Normandy, Ashley or Kaidan will accept his / her lead. So no need to kick the VS out of an airlock.

Odd...Yes...well, such would be frankly be rather par for the course for me.

And for the record, imo, they'd better be prepared to do so. And a good bit of A** kissing wouldn't hurt either, because although I'm sure I'm far from the most wrathful over it, I certainly would be keeping the whole Horizon mess at the front of my mind during any interaction with either of them during that assumed 'prologue' section.

Not that it necessarily matters, but if they did happen to insist on calling the shots to any extent, they'd find themselves either perforated and floating in the wake, or saving the galaxy without a Shep. If I had my way about it, that is...

Anyway, that's pretty much the extent of my opinion. Sry again for the...necromancy. /:>

They should've gone with red like the original the whole blue thing just doesn't cut it.

I'm not really sure how I feel about that part. The red would be nice, but I don't really have anything against the blue either. Maybe it could be reasoned that the red/black scheme was something applied mostly to prototypes or ships-of-the-line and blue/black is for more developed vessels? Idk. I mostly think I don't particularly like the Alliance insignia so huge on the nacells as it is. I'd probably just shrink it down and have it basically painted over the Cerberus ones.
