I wonder what that means for the Cerberus crew. Even Joker and Chakwas were with Cerberus, and working with Cerberus is kind of frowned upon. Hopefully they'll be let off like Shepard.

Joker is confirmed to be the pilot of the SR-2 Alliance version with EDI by his side. Maybe the Alliance is open to the fact they joined/left Cerberus soley because of Shepard?

Ah thats good. Anderson probably vouches for Joker seeing as Joker was part of Anderson's crew when he was in charge of the original Normandy. Probably goes for Chakwas too.

I wonder if we'll get Engineer Adams back.

I wouldn't be surprised if the Normandy was used for Ash/Kaidan's spectre goodies either.

hey that ship is mine (shep :innocent:) if someone have anything to say, theres always a door they could use, preferible using it while traveling <_<

Pretty much my sentiments lol.  If anyone has an issue with it, I can personally escort them to the nearest airlock and toss their assess out of it Image IPB

This has been speculated about before and makes sense given that we know the SR2 is under Alliance control now.

Some of us were noticing awhile back, for example, that it sort of looks like Garrus has an Alliance-coloured uniform under his armour. That could mean anything really, but the colours and the collar seemed to fit with what we've seen Anderson and other officers wearing before.

It would make sense that the rest of the Normandy crew would be decked out in Alliance colours/uniforms now.

As for the Cerberus crew, many of them were formerly Alliance before joining Cerberus so maybe Shepard has convinced the Alliance to keep them onboard still.

A turian joining the human army?

There's something incredibly sexy about that for some reason...

Didn't Engineer Adams die while the Normandy was destroyed?

I love a turian in uniform.. and who knows, given that all the races need to come together to stop the Reapers, anything is possible.

Only Pressley died (of names that we know), IIRC.

The Alliance wouldn't retrofit the Normandy and leave the Cerberus personnel, that's just stupid.

Makes pretty much sense to me.

That was Pressley. According to the wiki, Adams survived but didn't join Cerberus.

Even when most of those Cerberus people used to work for the Alliance in the first place?

Did they? I thought it was only Ken, Gabby, Joker and Chakwas that were former Alliance. The rest like Rupert, Hawthorne, Goldstein, Hadley, Chambers etc. were not former Alliance afaik.

They all seemed to have some sort of experience with the Alliance in the past though, and quite a few seemed to join up for the simple reason of Shepard. None of them seemed anything like Miranda or Cerberus anyway. ._.

and I thought that it was kind of commen knowledge that the Normandy would get a "alliance paint job" which would only mean Alliance control and alliance personal ..

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't remember there being any in-game evidence to prove this- most of the crew afaik were already part of Cerberus before ME2. Also you can't really expect all Cerberus personnel to have similar personalities- there seems to be a diverse variation of viewpoints among Cerberus personnel- from the ruthless Kai Leng to the compassionate Kelly Chambers.

I think a lot of the crew could be welcomed to the Alliance if they wanted to go to it since they are Shepard's crew, not Cerberus' if they aren't dead. If they are dead then no worries, if they're not then Shepard saved them and they are pretty damn loyal to Sheploo, like the Alliance crew who went rogue with Sheppy to Ilos.

I reckon Dr. Chakwas and Joker who are always alive (?) will be Alliance once again for sure. Shepard could 'request' his crew if he wanted because he [thinks] he can trust them.

The Alliance woulnd't retrofit the Normandy and leave an illegal and potentially dangerous AI in the ship that would be stupid.

I always figured the Normandy was being prepped for the Spectre VS. It explains why the VS is close enough to the ship to escape Earth and pick up Shep.

they might not have much of a choice ... beside ripping everything out and rebuilding the Normany instead of retro-fitting.

This is not what Phaedon is talking about, but it's similar.

It makes sense, maybe Shepard will be more of an XO at the start rather than the actual person in charge?

I'm just wondering what the alliance is going to do with Shepard's fish. Hopefully not dump them into an ocean somewhere.. or worse. :(

Same goes for the hampster.
