Well you couldn't seriously be surprised about this. The Alliance repossessing a Cerberus ship and leaving the Cerberus crew to serve on it would be rather weird.

I dunno, the cerberus crew seemed to be newbs, most had no real knowledge of Cerberus, all they had was TIM going "Hey, hey you, Shepards back and totally needs a crew to go fight bad guys, you in?" and they all went "Shepards back? hell yeah, sign me up, he/shes awesome!"

Yeah. When a crew-sized Cerberus cell declared they didn't really know anything about Cerberus, the Alliance just believed them for the heck of it, leaing them serving upon the most advanced frigate in the fleet.

You wouldn't know anything about that....:bandit:

Anywho I'll have to do a bit of digging but it was confirmed the VS wouldn't outrank Shepard on the Normandy.

Mostly I'm just annoyed the Alliance touched my gorram ship.

There will be Hell to pay if they did anything to the priceless Prothean artifact on my coffee table or my model ship collection.

There are a few crew members, namely Gabby,Ken,Gardner, that simply know the ship too well to just be discarded.

Gardner got offered a full pardon in return for making the Normandy's toilets flush properly?

I understand all that, but how is that reason enough? Cerberus is a rogue cell, AND they're frenzying the hell out during the Reaper War...

The crew of the Normandy all showed to be loyal to Shepard and humanity and not Cerberus,I'm sure they would be more then willing to spew everything about Cerberus to follow Shepard into the breach again.

Or if you pick them up after you've been sent off to save the galaxy, what's the Alliance going to do? Tell you to report back to Earth for a hearing?

No, I wouldn't really...

Altough I'm curious as to how would you describe possesive people who always have to be in full control and be in the spotlight?

possessiveness and spotlight have nothing to with it.

It's about the utter certainty that Ash is not going to be able to interfere with my decisions. It's about establishing without the shadow of a doubt who is in command and who follows the orders. Given her track record that is a priority.

again, have fun being a doormat and arguing with her knowing she has you under her thumb should she want to assert her authority....I'll make sure, in my story, she either knows her place or she is out of the team....or out of an airlock

I've always found the "THEY BETTER OBEY ME OR I'LL THROW THEM OUT AN AIRLOCK" people funny.

I still need to see a direct quote that does not just scream"yeah her rank is higher than yours but she still does what you tell her"

merely a matter of practicality. I'll settle for their sincere apology for second guessign me in the past with a promise to do as told.......failing that then they will need to be reminded of who is in charge if push comes to shove.......failing that there is always the airlock option

Oh, so we're talking about SHEPARD allowing them onboard now? I thought it was the Alliance. Because for the latter, Cerberus personnel won't become less terrorist if they happen to admit they were former Alliance (almost all of Cerberus are actually, the organization was an Alliance division originally), and Shepard is a goddamn war criminal on trial for commiting genocide and inciting an interspecies war.

Let's give them the most advanced ship!

And of course Shepard him/herself would love the old crew back.

That becomes moot the instant the reapers touch down on earth.....I am sure you realize that

@Crimzon...Ash is only a lieutenant

and 1 of the devs confirmed kaiden doesn't outrank you on the Normandy. So,it's all good.

And if you want a source it was twitter, and the link will take some digging.

I wouldn't know.

I would know how to describe people who scream "get on-topic or get out" when you go too far. That would be me.

So, do that.

Face one fact: The Normandy without Shepard in command would be like watching Kirk take orders from Spock. And Shepard being outranked by the VS among the SPECTREs? It is not happening.

And didn't the SA even bother to ask Garrus about the Thanix cannon? Like, "Garrus, can you get us another Thanix cannon?" "I suppose I could but what about Shepard?"
"Shepard's on trial."
"Pardon Shepard or no deal."
