I FOUND IT.. and it was Sheryl Chee, which shouldn't suprise me since she wrote Bela in the first place.

That banter was only intended to come up if you turned down both Isabela and Fenris.

As in, Isabela offers to sleep with you, and you said no. And then Fenris offers to sleep with you, and you say no. In this case, they would hook up in Act 3. This was the intention when it was written.

Looking at the scripting, however, it seems that it is checking to see if the Isabela and Fenris romances are ended. Which means you may have slept with them, but then agreed to "not bring feelings into it", thereby breaking off your romantic engagement.

So it sounds like if this banter is coming up in Act 3, then Fenris/Isabela are operating under the assumption that you are no longer in a romance.

So yea, unintentional bug, but not really game breaking, so its not really something that needs fixed.

Well the dialogue between them heavily implies that it at least starts out as "just sex," while the in-game romance with Fenris is definitely heavy on the emotion from early on. I don't think it's foolish to draw conclusions based on the dialogue.

Now, I think there's a high likelihood that it develops into something more serious, and that having it start out as "just sex" might actually be an easier way for Fenris to get himself used to the idea of a relationship. But dialogue supports the idea that it starts out as a random hookup... that they decide to do again.

I was being facetious... as I'd hoped my ";)" would indicate.

Though, admittedly, the rage and jealousy that fangirls have over Fenris/Isabela is hilarious...

What rage? Most of us adore the idea that should Hawke not be intrested in him/not be able to wait, that eventually he'll grow up and find an Isabela.

Besides, so long as I keep romancing him, I'll never hear that particular banter

There was a lot of jealous rage when it first came to light, especially on You Tube and Deviant Art. There are still quite a few who get their panties in a twist if Fenris is pictured/written with anyone other than their Hawke. Hell, there was a crapload of jealous rage before DA2 was even released after there was a rumor of Fenris having a wife. Hilarious. All of it.
