Apparently putting a Curse of Mortality on her keeps her from summoning more minions and disappearing from the field. I managed to kill her before the third wave spawned. Which brings up another issue waves are timed regardless of what she's doing they will come at certain intervuls.This was on Nightmare mode. Just throwing a bone out, I know some people have been having problems lately.

Cheesing this fight is easy. Just pull her really far away, like on the other side of the large stone pillar/wall/etc. backing the lighted zone she spawns in. She'll still disappear and spawn minions, but they will not aggro to you. Additionally, when she despawns you'll drop combat, which gives you major regen time. Upon her respawn, which is timed, she'll immediately reaggro and come running at you from wherever it is she appears (and still her minions remain oblivious). Once this is over, pull minions 2-3 at a time with a bow.

To be honest, I wouldn't even feel bad about cheesing this, at least on higher difficulties. Web, like most CC in DA:O, is utterly obnoxious. Battles centered around its abuse deserve to be manipulated.
