First of all, I agree that this planet will mostly be a ruined place. But your argument just doesn't make sense. For all we've seen about Geth's desires, tactics and reasonings, they wouldn't mind that the Quarians would retake their homeworld if there were peace. They don't believe in peace, but they clearly accept it. Since there is no way that the Quarians could reach this planet and just live there without the Geth's army noticing it, I'd submit that this interest that you speak of is non-existent. There is simply no strategic interest in flattening the planet, it is mere waste of resources, best spent in defending and monitoring the veil.

I'm nervous about the alien homeworlds. With all of them suddenly appearing in this game, I can't help but expect them to be rather bland and disappointing.

And referring to Arcian's points about Rannoch, I'm guessing ruins. And even if there is an intact house, screw that. It'll mean so much more for Shepard and Tali to build it themselves, the entire relationship is steeped in struggle, why should this be any different?

I really want to see Kahje. The thought of such a beautiful ocean world populated by Hanar in their natural environment just sounds great to me. A little like that one planet I forget the name of in KOTOR but with better graphics and fewer noise-hating sharks.

Kahje is not going to be a very pretty place... It's said that it constantly storms there with very little sun showing through, and it constantly rains also.
Unless the Hanar have extravangantly built cities underwater or floating above than yea I'd like to see.

That and either Illium or Thessia (or any Asari world). Hopefully Earth won't dominate the game since I play this to feel like I'm on other worlds... but if there's a good story then so be it.

I wouldn't mind visiting Mindoir which is my Femsheps home planet (doubt it will happen mind you).  The only other planet I would love to visit is Klendagon which is home to the "Great Rift Valley" but again I get teh feeling there is little chance of that happening.

So it would be more like Kamino than Manaan, I don't mind. Kahje is on my list too, and besides that:

-Rannoch
-Irune
-A Feros or Ilos-like world (as in more Prothean ruins! maybe euhm Kahje?) 
-Or maybe remains of civilizations older than Protheans, like the ones responsible for destroying the Reaper at Klendagon...
