Because, you know, nobody plays on consoles and therefore can't use fan mods =P.

The lore was interesting to say the least. It and Legacy helped me to figure out Malcolm Hawke's history, given how Bioware presented it in a very convoluted way.

You are so insightful, it's almost as though you have the strength of two minds.
Clearly, you've stolen mine.

At first I was against the first item pack, but when I eventually bought it I liked it. Well... mainly the first armor for a Mage Hawke, because I want to see more armor like that. A mixture of both robes and armor.

I did find it funny how the item pack was like: Hey, mages! here have some plot-relevant gear that connects to your family! And everyone else was like: Oh, right, have some Orlesian... stuff.
I love both the mage robes for the first and second acts respectively. The first one has that armor-robe hybrid feel which makes it look like your mage is hiding out, whereas I think the second looks like some pompous noble robe that a noble might wear around hightown.
I'll be interested to see what the items in the latest pack are, and whether there are accessories/etc for your companions like in #1.

Not quite. Rogues got 'Black Fox Stuff' which is infinitely cooler than your family or Orlais.

Also, hopefully the items don't look as ridiculous as the previous set. Rogues don't backstab with meat cleavers!

I think the meat cleavers are an improvement.

My rogue didn't backstab with a mace. She facestabbed with it. It was glorious.ishmaeltheforsaken wrote...
Hay, Origins rogues backstabbed with MACES.

Edit: Hmm...I did like the Fugitive's Mantle as well.
What we need are more stylish hats, in general. With feathers.

Though how Hawke manages to get the Jerkin of the Black Fox which was lost in the Arlathan Forest is a bit odd.

As long as my femHawke can still wear Jasmine Cutty's Wrap and the Black Fox's jerkin as a rogue, I'm content. I'd be happier if I could wear it for any class, though.
I significantly doubt the new item pack is goign to remove the old one
Looking forward to this. Might give me an impetus to do another run-through.

Maybe it's a replica, like Aveline's shield?

Xenon probably had it delivered. It sounds like the kinda thing he'd get hold of.

One should always use fingerquotes around the word "lost" when discussing items and rogues.
