I suppose dual wielding meat cleavers makes more sense than maces. I just wish that they looked more dagger-like so they could at least go with the scissor sound effect that dual wield weapons sound like.

Perhaps Bioware could just give rogues a pair of scissors to use on the opposition.

I significantly doubt the new item pack is goign to remove the old one . It would be nice if the items were just stat/level-locked rather than class-locked, though.

Looking forward to this. Might give me an impetus to do another run-through.

Yeah, I didn't word that the way I meant to. Really my point was supposed to be that I wished you could wear that stuff for any class, instead of being limited to one...but alas, I got caught up in my own word net.

I honestly would really like to see this. It doesn't have to be the top hat my ava is decked out in but some hats would be great... although once you start you can't stop, it could turn into a rather large collection very quickly.

I have no problem with item packs since they're cheap and completely optional. I think they should cost you something in game, though. Maybe change them so it's more like buying a merchant with neat stuff than just getting a chest full of free goodies.

That said, it doesn't seem the wisest move, if you they want to build on solid footing Legacy started to establish.

Shh...being able to outfit Hawke with the dlc gear saves money in game.  It's not until around act 3 that you are able to go around thowing money to Kirkwall's poor.

If you're on PC, you can mod yourself a tiara with a veil attached to it.

If you don't mind being reminded of who it belongs to everytime you wear it...

And only 1 person to wear them....
Useless I say...

How manny weapons armor and other stuff do we need? Cant use them on companions( armor )
and when you have a good weapon why change it?
I downloaded every DLC so far DA O had Awakening and for DA 2 also.
But this one... seriously dudes.... USELESS!!!

It's an item pack, don't buy it if you don't like it.

Like they said today at the gamescom panel, the next story DLC is announced at pax, just a single week away. However, like I posted in the other thread regarding the panel today, they already hinted at a few things, and showed a single screenshot of it, of Hawke riding a Wyvern.
Yes, for the first time mounts in Dragon Age.
Beyond that, there is additional story DLC in the works, and they want to bring the "Hawke Chapter" to a conclusion before moving on.

That said, feel free to continue to whine about item DLC.

People like variety when outfitting their Hawke, and maybe, just maybe, there might be some people who actually like the look of the items. Anyways, if you don't like the sound of the new pack, don't buy it. Outrageous thought, I know...

Like I said, it was a live panel (with like 30?) people present, at the gamescom fair today. It was projected at the wall, and we were forbidden to take a picture. The announcement is a week away. Fell free to ignore what I said until you have your proof. I'll be back to tell you "told you so" then...
