I'm so glad I'm not at any of these events regarding story DLC though, the temptation to just keep asking if there will be Griffons in it would be too much.

Though how Hawke manages to get the Jerkin of the Black Fox which was lost in the Arlathan Forest is a bit odd.
One should always use fingerquotes around the word "lost" when discussing items and rogues.
I'm not nearly as savvy on rogues and pirates and whatnot as I thought I was.

Yes, there will be a new item pack next week - it was in the DA presentation.
You were in there?

While I know it's not the same for everyone, I wish my warden would have gotten something in the same vein.Merci357 wrote...

At first I was against the first item pack, but when I eventually bought it I liked it. Well... mainly the first armor for a Mage Hawke, because I want to see more armor like that. A mixture of both robes and armor.
The lore was interesting to say the least. It and Legacy helped me to figure out Malcolm Hawke's history, given how Bioware presented it in a very convoluted way.
I agree on the mage armor bit, wish I had some of that in origins.
But personally I couldn't care less about Malcom Hawke's past. Though the bit about the final boss was VERY interesting, made me wonder about the Architect as well.

I just want to see a damn portrait of what Malcolm Hawke looked like. He has a badass voice and I imagine he has an incredibly badass beard to go with it.

I kinda picture Duncan whenever Malcom Hawke is brought up, the beard gives him away.

If Duncan is Hawke's Father I will be incredibly happy. And confused. But mostly happy.

Isn't Hawke supposed to look like Malcom (Thus the reason he can have totally different hair/eye colour than the rest of the family). I always thought that is the reason why we don't see Malcom.

Are you kidding? Half the enjoyment came from finding all the STUFF!! Even though most of it rotted away in my trunk atleast I could brag to the next pompous noble that walked by me that I had more awesome stuff than he does!

Though it'd be nicer if this item pack gives the companions another armour set to wear.
Which I doubt.

Armor for Varric? Maybe this armor set will tie in with Varric?
Doubt it, he was holding what looked to be some sort of hammer weapon. And we all know he wouldn't leave behind Bianca for a second.

Naked Oghren isn't enough.
He needs to come with no clothes (optional), an Ale in his hand, the Darkspawn Ravager in his other hand, and riding on the back of a gorilla.
only then will it be enough.
