You're missing the point of that interaction entirely. It's not meant to be a choice at all, it's meant to be a clue to the gamer that **** got real.

What about someone has full Paragon and empty Renegade don't you think that having that direction would allow you to save a few more, i mean the more Paragon you have the more you can save and visa versa i mean it might be from a full Paragon so its 75% gain / 25% loss or Half Points 50% gain / 50% loss or to a Full Renegade so its 25% gain / 75% loss it would make sense. I also think having more Paragon Points would make more people trust you and follow you another thing would be.
If you have more Paragon Points the person you save might give you a powerfull weapon and if you save someone with less Paragon Points the person might give you a less powerfull weapon like maybe a gun with less ammo or speed boost maybe a recoil boost bonus. There is a huge difference with Paragon and Renegade Points.
