Reasons to reveal Tali's Face

1. If I'm Shepard, and Shepard saw Tali's face, why not let me, the player, see it too (this time in ME3 I mean)?
2. Even if she is not "Miss Milky Way 2168," she is not female Darth Vader either. Shepard might have been attracted to her mainly based on his imagination and that figure matches face in some way at least. If some people rant afterwards, let them rant. For all I know, there may be people out there who find all ME ladies not to be their type.
3. From a story perspective, aren't there any galactic historians sitting on a faraway planet who inserted a photo of male/female Quarian unmasked in some sort of encyclopedia? They're there among us, not some ghost species like the Collectors who people doubted existed. I mean, it's POSSIBLE for there to be a record of how Quarians look like, right? It's only realistic then to let the player know what Tali looks like.
What do you think?

Why do you care so much about the face of a pixel character in a video game?
In a book, I care about character descriptions too. What's your point?

I don't really care. It's silly that everyone in the galaxy knows what quarians look like, but Bioware continues to hide it from the player.RussianSpy27 wrote...

So that's what on your mind when you're reading a book about 37 million year old robots who have come to destroy the galaxy?

It's kind of silly they would waste the resources on tinting their visors, unless they all have the same exact face.marshalleck wrote...

If they reveal it, they should handle it carefully. If they not, I am still comfortable.
I really really really hope they make her ugly.

That's kind of like saying it would be silly to "waste resources" on giving other NPCs different clothes and/or headwear. It's not like a tinted visor is some massive, resource-hog technological hurdle.Humanoid_Typhoon wrote...

Ok I get the whole "sometimes it's better for the imagination to take over" point. No one sees Tali's face means everyone imagines her to be an alien hottie (she already has the figure), so no 1000 page complaint posts and such. However...

Not really.
People will complain on Tali having wrong hair style, skin colour and so on.
