I would like to see what Quarians look like; it doesn't need to be Tali. But at the end of the day it isn't as important to me, as, say, getting that guy back his refund.

BioWare are in a lose-lose situation. Reveal Tali's face, be damned for it. Keep her face covered, be damned for it. People already have way too many ideas of what she 'looks' like. What if she has the mouth of an ant eater? But it like... rolls up... like those slinky things you roll down steps. Anyhow... I'm not sure, I don't want Tali to be this... weird alien body figure with a human face. That'd be disturbing.

Why is it so weird to want to know what a character looks like? Tali's face would not be the focus of the entire game, like the Reapers.  It's just one small things that some fans would appreciate an answer to.

3. From a story perspective,  aren't there any galactic historians sitting on a faraway planet who inserted a photo of male/female Quarian unmasked in some sort of encyclopedia? They're there among us, not some ghost species like the Collectors who people doubted existed. I mean, it's POSSIBLE for there to be a record of how Quarians look like, right? It's only realistic then to let the player know what Tali looks like.

What do you think?

If I've said it once I've said it a million times. Bioware just needs to make it an option. That way if you don't want to see you don't have to and if you do want to see you can satisfy your curiosity. Easy Peezy (most) everybody is happy... Mostly...

* Absolutely and utterly regardless of what she looks like, a vast majority of the fanbase will hate it and complain greatly, then accuse Bioware of being racist because her facial structure is similar to that of an American (or similar)

There is something powerful to be said for the mystery behind a mask in a work of fiction. It allows the player/viewer to imagine what the character looks like to their own tastes - but as soon as a real face is revealed, those images are ruined.

Not the same genre - but there is a very good reason as to why Bungie never revealed the faces of any of their protagonists in the Halo series.

The only reason that I think showing a Quarian's face (particularly Tali's) is that not everyone would love it - in fact, it would probably divide the fanbase because everyone has their own version of Tali, and setting an "official" face would lose the uniqueness of her character.

That's just a human face with a different texture. And ME already has Asari.
