Would've been nice but I'll live. I'm more concerned with squadmate AI then what their armor looks like.

Disappointing VERY disappointing..............

For me "unique outfit" concept is a triviality compared with armor management and customization.

As long as we have casual outfits on the Normandy and other non-combat areas, and armored hardsuits that can accomodate full-face helmets in combat/hazardous zones, I'm okay with not being able to recolor squadmate armor.

He is referring to selecting custom colors for squad mates, not changing armors.

For example, Casey Hudson already said that Ashley will have a full-armor option.

"Also lots of questions about Ashley. We've only showed her in a jacket
outfit & its CE variant. She will also have full armor and helmet."

Yeah...I actually prefered the individual armor. Only hope it'll make more sense this time arround (7 meters of leatherstraps in vacuum ? Really Jack ?)

I'm going to start a thread asking BW to give me ME3 for free and a month earlier than anyone else, then express disappointment when that doesn't happen.

Oh hell. :(

That's my first, big, and probably only disappoint with ME3.

Dammit. I had seen it coming though. :pinched:

I'd still like to see casual suits aboard the Normandy. I figure Miranda doesn't wear a catsuit 24/7. Doesn't mean she needs sweat pants and an extra large Tupari ad shirt but maybe some space jeans and a jacket w/ shirt underneath. Don't think this will work with Tali though.

But he clearly said to be only "alt skins" like in ME2 so no armor customization too as for the Ashley armor part, its just probably another skin probably not customizable.

Eh, kinda let down but whatever. A very small thing to complain about, sides lets spend less time changing their chest plate from blue, to red, to yellow, to green, or Whatever. And more time developing them as characters and making their AI smarter. Sides i liked the alternate appearance thing ME2 had goin' on :)

Yes. I ask for no more than this with regards to armor.

He said that in response to being asked if squad armor COLORS will be customizable like Shepard's in ME2. You can't just rip the answer out of context.

If true, this makes me a happy panda. I'm more concerned with Shepard's customization personally.

I won't really care as long as we can still swap 3-5 different armors that have different stats for squadmates.

And judging from Hudson's comments, we'll be having at least 3 per squadmates if we get the CE.

Not too dissapointed about it, I had no trouble with alt skins in ME2.

Squad armor customization is still possible. It's just the skins that can be changed instead of there being a color swapping system like with Shepard's armor.

So don't ****** yourself just yet.

I just want them to add the most customization they can, if they really want to connect you more to your characters

I'd rather have meaningful customization than merely cosmetic. If not implementing the ability to give Ashley a pink top means they've introduced the ability to give her non-visual armor upgrades (ala Dragon Age 2 companion upgrades) then I'll take that as a win.

And to head off the counter-argument I already sense coming, people disliked the companion armor mods in DA2 because it was a step back from the level of customization in DAO. If we get that system in ME2, it will be an addition and improvement over ME2.
