Was all set to rage, then realised it was a comment about alternate colours on armour.

Rage is now subsiding.

Good times.

I'll be good as long as there is 2-3 DRASTICALLY DIFFERENT looking armor sets per "core" character.

Well... There wasn't any customization possibilities in ME2 so I can live without them in ME3 too.

i dont want to customize something that isnt me. being able to change what someone else looks like would is weird and unneeded. im all for more options in their particular style, but putting on whatever armor i choose, isnt right. i dont want the option for joker to have a beard or not.

i want more options for shepard, not squadmates. athough 2 is not enough like ME2 had.

Regardless of having or not, it was never a big, important thing.

Never missed it, anyway.

Yeah...some of the alternate outfits in ME2 were horrible. I hope they're all better designed too. I think the only alternate outfits I enjoyed were Jack and Thane's, and those were DLC...

As long as SMs dont carry catsuits to the battlefield, its actually not that bad.

Thread title is horribly misleading.

Damn, I wasn't expecting full customization, but hoping for custom coloring. I'd like my squad to look uniform, not just random blues and greens.

What, no Mantis VII armor, I am disappoint :( But seriously, I hope they are retaining the ME2 system, I would much rather people have their own unique looks, than that one size fits all junk from ME1 so people can satiate their dress up fantasies.

I don't really see why anyone is surprised. To be honest, squad armor customization was pretty wishful thinking at best.

Personally I prefer the unique looks for characters as opposed to the samey armor in ME1 with very few differences.

I won't really care as long as we can still swap 3-5 different armors that have different stats for squadmates.

And judging from Hudson's comments, we'll be having at least 3 per squadmates if we get the CE.

Not as good as total customization, but seems to be fine.

I'll be happy as long as no one goes onto the battle field in 2 inch high heels.

Had no idea that resources were stretched so much in the future that everyone was only designated 2 pairs of clothing. Seems the recession has hit the mass effect universe as well!

Maybe they could give us the old iconic costumes for every character in addition to two or three costumes for ME3?

For example -- Garrus.

1. Turian Agent costume from ME1.
2. Turian Rebel (fixed) from ME2.
3. Turian Soldier armor for ME3 + alt armor + CE armor?

I'd like Garrus to have a Phantom armor option.

I love this armor. Reminds me of Nihilus. Maybe we could request it as an extra DLC?

the same !  I thought one second it would be like dragon age 2, no customization for our companions. <_<

The Op is really... well, sigh, I don't care now.

Yeah as long as they can do barrel rolls in heavy armor and survive in space, even though their suit has been shot to hell, apply medi-gel to a bullet in their chest, wear helmets that give you no peripheral vision; as long as no one is wearing high heels, it will be the most realistic combat sim EVERZ!

I know this puts me squarely in the minority, but I preferred the ME2/DA2 system. I would much rather have my squadmates have a unique personal appearance, as opposed to everyone wearing identical or near-identical armor. This is welcome news to me.

This is the tweet...
"Will squad armor be able to have custom colors like Shepard's?"

This is the answer...
"No, though there is a chance for alt-skins like ME2."

This does not in any way confirm "No squad armor" as the thread title suggests. OP is making a presumption and passing it off as a fact.

I'll take that over the mind numbing need repair EVERYTHING in my inventory all the time for the sake of realism

and I DEFINITELY will take that over nipple belts, catsuits and high hells

sure some elements might not have been perfect but jack, miranda and samara were downright ridiculous
