I'll be good as long as there is 2-3 DRASTICALLY DIFFERENT looking armor sets per "core" character.
This is my preferred set up.

Yeah...some of the alternate outfits in ME2 were horrible. I hope they're all better designed too. I think the only alternate outfits I enjoyed were Jack and Thane's, and those were DLC...

Personally I prefer the unique looks for characters as opposed to the samey armor in ME1 with very few differences.

Not as good as total customization, but seems to be fine.Savber100 wrote...
I won't really care as long as we can still swap 3-5 different armors that have different stats for squadmates.
And judging from Hudson's comments, we'll be having at least 3 per squadmates if we get the CE.

For example -- Garrus.
1. Turian Agent costume from ME1.
2. Turian Rebel (fixed) from ME2.
3. Turian Soldier armor for ME3 + alt armor + CE armor?

Maybe they could give us the old iconic costumes for every character in addition to two or three costumes for ME3?

I'd like Garrus to have a Phantom armor option.

I love this armor. Reminds me of Nihilus. Maybe we could request it as an extra DLC?

the same ! I thought one second it would be like dragon age 2, no customization for our companions. <_<Icinix wrote...
Was all set to rage, then realised it was a comment about alternate colours on armour.

Yeah as long as they can do barrel rolls in heavy armor and survive in space, even though their suit has been shot to hell, apply medi-gel to a bullet in their chest, wear helmets that give you no peripheral vision; as long as no one is wearing high heels, it will be the most realistic combat sim EVERZ!Sesshomaru47 wrote...

"Will squad armor be able to have custom colors like Shepard's?"
This is the answer...
"No, though there is a chance for alt-skins like ME2."
This does not in any way confirm "No squad armor" as the thread title suggests. OP is making a presumption and passing it off as a fact.

I'll take that over the mind numbing need repair EVERYTHING in my inventory all the time for the sake of realism
and I DEFINITELY will take that over nipple belts, catsuits and high hells
sure some elements might not have been perfect but jack, miranda and samara were downright ridiculous
