Honestly, this board tends to panic so much over information that is later found to be either not true, or twist to fit a posters fears (for example: Mass Effect 3 has multiplayer as confrmed by amagazine!) that I'm not going to even pay any attention to rumors/posts on Companion Armor customizationuntil I actually see a screen shot or vid that shows something about it.

I meani've seen vids on weapon customization and character building and like what I've seen. So I'm not inclined to fret over this until I have something in front of me to talk about.

Not too dissapointed about it, I had no trouble with alt skins in ME2.

Ditto.  If all it is is just color customization, then I am fine.  The alt outfits in ME2 were cool, but in no way necessary.

I don't realy much care to fiddle with the squad's armor; just as long as they ARE wearing proper armor. Image IPB

It took two seconds to change armor.  You compared armors pressed a and boom new armor on upgrades transferred and everything,  you had to be really lazy if you thought that was a hassle.  I am not saying I want the old ME 1 system back but I would like to be able to change stuff.

Kinda disappointing, I was hoping for a system were all squadmate suits could be customized in a similar system to Shepard's. I'll be fine as long as each squadmate has a bunch of alternate appearences. Should be reasonable since the number of permanent squadmates has been reduced.

OP should really change everything, since the alt-skin is just there instead of the color.

At this point, it doesn't really matter to me what armors/skins do stat-wise. I just want a decent range of different looks to accompany each member, just for customization's sake

I am cool with unique armor for squad mates, so long as its actually armor, they can run around in spandex or bare naked on the ship as much as they want, just not in combat or in areas with hazardous atmospheres, or a lack of one at all.

Because there is nothing more marvelous than to swap armors and look simply fabulous in the middle of battle.

That's too bad.

I mean, would it be too much to ask for each outfit to at least give a different bonus or something?

I've not read all seven pages so apologies if this has been mentioned; but didn't Michael Gamble not state in a recent interview, that you would be able to change the colour and such of your squad mates armour?

That's mentioned in the first posts link. In my opinion it's a pretty lame substitute.

Not really trolling, just saying it's not important to me...but then again I didn't actually have to post anything either.

Lol, I read this thread when it was made then posted much later, so that link will probably be how I heard that in the first place.

I'm not too disappointed by it, cause I wouldn't want to be customising all their armour to the extant that I customise my own. Mind you there will only be half a dozen squad mates now so maybe I would. As long as I can change the colour and pattern though as I said I won't be too disappointed.

This. I love Miranda but her outfit in combat is ridiculous. Ash's outfit is super stupid as well (what I have seen of it)  if that is in combat so I happy to hear that there is an armor skin for her.

Well dlc fixed Miranda's look so hopefully it shows they know that we don't want to see high heels in combat.

It's in the tweet on the first page. It's clearly stating that it's about color schemes and not the squad armor customization.
