What if...

TIMs encounter (P.S!!!) with the artifact in that one comic led to his indoctrination?

Now, we know that TIM was slightly affected by the artifact. You can see it in his eyes. We also know of his tests on a certain person. Perhaps he was studying this person to try and fix his own indoctrination? Perhaps that is also why TIM sends Shepard to the Collector base--He is not in control. And also, perhaps, why he is now working for the Reapers(look at conf. features list, its there).

I was thinking something kind of similar except I thought maybe Miranda took over for Liara as the shadowbroker since she's not a permanent squad-mate and they said she would have a major role in the game. I don't know I can't wait either way.

has anyone ever considered that TIM is not after shepard. but he just keeps bumping into them because they have similar goals. and the illusive man wants stuff done his way?

The Reapers are by far the bigger threat, and TIM could pretty much
count on the fact that Shepard's gonna deal with the Reapers before he

True, but they clearly have opposing views of how the war should be fought, and clearly its something the Shep can't agree with either paragon or renegade.

Irrespective of that, if TIM ****s with Liara, he's a dead dog in my Shepard's eyes.

Actually, that's true, now I think about it. I've just been assuming that Cerberus is attacking Shepard when in fact Shepard may just be continually getting in their way. Again.  Mind you, I'm not sure that's all there is to it, but this theory WOULD fit all the info we've got. 

Man, I can't wait for all the whining about 'I should have been able to agree with TIM etc.' if this theory turns out to hold water.

EDIT: And as I look above this post, it's ALREADY started.  Good to know the BSN is reliable in some ways.

Whatever Shep does, TIM has at least a powerful, indoctrinated army that appears out of nowhere and wants to kill you.

And you all want to hand him the best intelligence network in the known galaxy.

Why doesn't Shep just kill him/hershelf and save TIM the trouble while we're at it?

Sure.

The Reapers are wiping out the galaxy, I don't want to spend 40% of my time killing hundreds of Cerberus soldiers when I could be using that time to figure out ways to stop the Reapers and I don't want to be killing these soldiers that could be better used against the Reapers.
