I've been playing Mass Effect 2 for a few days now and got addicted.
I've played 5h in 2 days, and I'd like to play more, but...

When I finished my task in Aite - Hermes Station, after talking to Archer, I went to the ship with my squad and pressed the space bar near it. Then i clicked Leave (to leave the station, obviously). But then, after the scene that the ship engines go on and it leaves the station, the screen goes black (Like it does to change screen to loading screen or to another scene), but it freezes like that. I have to Ctrl+Alt+Del to close the game.

Indeed, I've saved the game after talking to Archer and left, and in the other day I just needed to leave the room (lab or whatever) and go to the space ship.

My Specs are:

Windows 7 Ultimate SP1 64-bit
XFX ATI Radeon HD 6770
- Driver: AMD Radeon Catalyst Control Center (Gfx card detected as "AMD HD 6700 Series")
Intel Core i7 960 @ 3.20GHz

I don't think it's a hardware problem, because I've played 5h already perfectly well.
Can anyone help me? I've already looked everywhere!!

Who are your squadmates on the mission. Legion for some reason causes some interesting crashes on Overlord.

Other than that it can be a file corruption, other program interference or possible driver issue. First step I would do would be to delete the dlc off your game, and computer and then clear your internet cache and redownload the dlc again using Google Chrome without any add-ons, then reinstall and retry.

I have tried everything here. Beaten the mission with 4 different squads trying to beat the glitch. As soon as I access the hammerhead the clip works fine then the game goes black screen. I have uninstalled and reinstalled everything.
