Right so I have the Boots of Striding +2
I want to upgrade it to the Boots of Striding +6. Though apparently, according to instructions I can't do that. I have to find some hide boots to go with the dinosaur claws I already have.
But where do I find hide boots? Not found any useful link using google yet. I don't even know if I'm meant to craft hide boots from goods/resources but I haven't found a recipe to make hide boots so far.
Help?

Clerics sell those sorts of things, in the temple that each town usually has.
Once you've made your Boots of Striding, you can further enchant them to improve their armour class (essentially making some Boots of Hardiness).

Hmm. Just went into two temples and looked at what they had for sale... no hide boots...
Were you referring to a specific town's cleric?

here's a good place to look around fer this sorta stuff:
Thieves-Guild (see links at bottom of that page)
Item Name: Hide boots
Item Code: nx2_boots_hide
Location: Waukeen (Samargol)
- if worse comes to worse, nothin wrong with a friendly giveitem or two ..

The Temple in Samargol has all the mundane items. I always stock up before leaving.
Also, buy every gold necklace you come across and a handful of rings. Sometimes you'll find them on the OM, but sometimes you won't.
