Legacy DLC account problem/Ea support sucks

I have a problem, for some reason when I bought legacy through the game it brought up the website under my new account (New email, want to let this one die, was going to start using it on the next ME game). Now all my old DLC's are under my old account. EA informs me I cannot combine accounts. I was sent up to T2 for help, waited 45 minutes, got disconnected. Typed in my chat ID waited another 45 minutes, and got informed there was no agents available to help me (Why they let me sit in line for 45 minutes to tell me no one was availabe is beyond me).

Tried once again to get on later, the lady informs me I'll be upgraded to T2. I tell her I'm not waiting for another 45 minutes watching my screen for T2. She says that she'll have to upgrade me to T3 which will take 24 to 48 hours. Apparently not wanting to wait another 45 minutes on top of the hour and a half already waited means I need to wait 2 days? Well now it's day three and I just want to play legacy already. I'm hoping I can get an answer here otherwise I'll need to turn to cracks and hacks, and if I'm forced to do that for this one dlc, I'm probably going to continue with all of them to make my life easier.

Sorry, only EA.com/support can do anything of that nature. EAAgent who haunts this forum MAY be able to help if you send him a PM, but EA runs the site and has full control over it. There seems to be a vast disparity between techs over on EA.com some are really good, and some stink. If you can bear it, keep trying and you will usually finally get one who can actually do what you ask. I know they can turn on content and if you can prove you are owners of both accounts they should just be able to deactivate the dlc on the first and activate it on the second.

I recommend to keep trying.

So I attempted to try again. Right after your response actually. Still talking to an agent. She's asked me my birthdate twice, and has probably left me sitting for a total of 30 minutes while *investigating* issues. Why the hell do you let EA handle your support bioware?

Hello Everyone, I am having trouble with Legacy. I have downloaded and installed it with no problem, but when I run the game I do not see the statue in the location it should be in the house. I exit out and check for the game in "Downloadable content" and I do see it there but when I select it it says "Version Number is Unathorized. The Release date is 8/3/2011. Does anyone know what is going on?

You have to connect it to the account you bought it from, ie enter the bioware/ea account name and password ingame to connect it to the server to prove that you actually bought it. For some reason it isn't connecting and getting authorization, which could mean you bought with a different account, firewall blocking, you clicked play offline, or any of a number of other issues. So double check that you are logging into your account here ingame and it should correct the issue.

If you are using any special characters in the password, #$%^@ it will NOT work in game, thus not allowing you to link up and authorize the dlc.

The statue is upstairs (not the bedroom), but the other way. If you stand in your mansion facing your desk, you'll need to go to the left (or right?). Back there, there will be a room with some stairs and a landing. Please go up the stairs and the griffon statue should be there. If it isn't, then you have a problem.

And sometimes, you'll need to logout and login again to make the game recognize the dlc.

As for EA support, please remember that EA support probably have a 1) a manual they go through and B) probably are somewhere outside the US.

Thanks for you help, sounds like you hit the nail on the head as I am pretty sure accounts are different.  I'll try to connect ingame (I need to figure that out).  Thank you.
