Hi I was playing ME2 and I got to meet Conrad Verner and appartently he is saying I pointed a gun in his face from ME1, but I charmed him and did no such thing. I googled around and saw that some have bugs importing saves and I tried to use gibbed save editor but it doesn't work when I change up the plot flags that carry over. Could this be because I am trying to edit my save mid-game? My main question is how do I fix my save to correct the decisions carried over?

tl;dr; Decisions didn't import correctly from ME1. How can I correct save?

Conrad always thinks you intimidated him, which is actually a bug in Mass Effect 1. The latest version of Gibbed's Save Editor has a fix for this (impossible on older versions) but this could cause problems when carrying it over to Mass Effect 3.

Thank you Fredvdp for your response. I am using the latest editor, but I suspect that I am trying to edit the save too far into the game so it is not working.

If you don't have one that works, but you have to edit the save "BEFORE" you talk to the matriarch in the hallway OUTSIDE the bar on Illium, because she is part of the scene with Conrad.  On most editors you have to edit the save and then import the character back into ME2 as a NG+.  The one linked above allows you to not only edit your ME1 flags but ME2 flags set by them, so you can edit your current game provided you don't get past the trigger points.  So as long as you edit the save BEFORE going to Illium the first time, it will work.
