How are the unsigned Prototype/Dead Reaper lithographs different?

I recall Ms.Domino saying that the unsigned lithographs would be different so that the signature could not be forged, but I don't see any differences.  Did I miss a post that covered that?

The signed and numbered lithos have the signature and number in the bottom right corner - and only that.

The unsigned have the artist's name printed in that same location.

I don't think the photos on the site reflect that, you can blame me for that one...

Ahhh I believe it is the same with the full (and signed) versus the "mini" versions of The Team.

Cool, thanks for the clarification.

If they continue with 800 print runs there isn't enough demand compared to the supply to matter if they are signed and unsigned.

If you're going to have signed and unsigned the supply of signed needs to be much lower. Like 200 signed. You can't release 800 signed, god knows how many unsigned, and expect to have a collectible.

There are only 400 unsigned total after the second release.

Just for clarifications sake, there was no first or second release of either the signed singles or the unsigned, only the packs had a staggered release. There are currently 200 available unsigned versions of each new lithograph, Proto SR 2 and Dead Reaper.

The point of the unsigned being that if needed, they could be produced again. I'd really appreciate a confirmation on how many unsigned were actually produced so far.   Reason being is as it appears to stand, considering that there is very little interest in either of these lithographs in any variety, and there will likely be no need for further unsigned productions, unless there is more in inventory that is not being displayed on the site, you in effect, have an unsigned version of the lithograph that is 4 times as rare as the signed and numbered version. That should never, ever happen, I hope it's not the case.

There was a staggered release for the singles. The second batch went up about 4 hours after the first one. Way before the second time was announced on their posts they made on facebook but it did happen. I guess they figured since they weren't selling out who cares when they go up. since they only sold like 4 dead reaper and 1 sr-2 in all the hours it took for them to put out the second batch.

I will be getting my unsigned version in like two months when I feel good about spending my money on lithos again. At least I know they will still be there.

Alright then, sorry Marksman, I happened to check in the middle of the usual times, saw all 500 were up, and figured they scrapped the release windows this time. I should have double checked before posting.   It doesn't change the numbers or the point I was asking about though.

I agree why would unsigned be more rare then signed. I wondered when they first said they would go the full unsigned rout if they would have over 1000 unsigned but seems not. Then I wondered why bother increasing the count if there are unsigned.
I think a change should be made to scale back signed to 300-400 and just keep with the full size unsigned. If that is what they want. Though since none of them have sold they might scrap that idea.
At the same time they can charge 10 dollars more for signed in the interest of making money why would they want to scale that back?
With these lithos I doubt they will be making more of the unsigned in the future since they are selling as slow as snails. So we might just have the unsigned be more rare with these lithos.

I changed my mind since I am seeing that they are going nowhere I will wait till the inevitable price drop now to grab mine. Yay saving money.

Are you 100% sure on that?

Im asking because one of my friends got an unsigned Dead Reaper Litho early as a gift from Bioware.  Not a single print of the artist name in sight.
