Sure it happens, but does that make it any less stupid or irresponsible? Nope.

Do people really want to see femShep or any of the human LIs running around fighting Reapers or anything else while pregnant? Does anyone actually think it makes sense? A woman isnt going to get pregnant and be able to continue fighting in a war, and the idea that it is acceptable is ridiculous.

In the real world, female soldiers that get pregnant are pulled out of their jobs and usually put on convalescent leave then later on maternity leave. There is no way they would let them stay in a warzone or anywhere near it. Hell, there are women who have been kicked out of the military for getting pregnant during deployment, because many times they are ordered not to and are ordered to be more responsible and careful because of safety issues and the danger they put themselves and others in.
