Odd dialogue I just had. I could have sworn I have never flirted with merrill this playthrough, but I have been extremely supportive.
When I went to my house randomly there was Merrill, with slightly different dialogue. Instead of talking about how she wishes I was dalish, she talks about how its foolish to hope that I could be interested in her.
Anyone else encountered this? What caused it? Do any other companions do this?
Did Merrill just jump me?

I had it happen to me too, randomly I got the romance dialog when she kicked me out, and then showed up at my place.. even though I never once flirted with her ;p

Maybe your Hawke was just so undeniably sexy, Merrill couldn't help herself. The stars were out in the open sky, the torch light danced in your eyes, etc. - the atmosphere was perfect for "jumping."

I also think that Merrill will only tell the male Hawke that she wishes him Dalish. She will tell a female that she's a goddess.
