Uh, my comments are justified. If I read something like "You're an idiot" or in Hershey's case, "Get out of this board." I'm going to flame back hard.

A flame for a flame leaves this whole thread locked down.

And we want you gone, too. Feeling's mutual.

Go screw yourself, douchebag.

Don't lower yourself to his level.  Its obvious his whole purpose is to trash talk Bioware's fan base.

Riiiight. Already reported you, Hershey.

Good. Kind of figured you would. That's what you shooter fans do pretty often. I was trying to avoid name calling....calling me a d-bag is childish. I said move along to avoid conflict. Stop trying to sabotage the topic. You and your buddy, who is on your "friend's list", apparently, don't like this topic because rpg fans are voicing concerns and opinions, along with others.

Seeing as we're lowly, pathetic shooter fans who aren't allowed the same privelage of sharing our opinions like you.
With such elitism that you're showing nothing will make me happier than to have Bioware turn their backs on you.

I know. But let's just ignore them from this point. It seems like they just want to sabotage the topic. We were having excellent discussion. Back to that now.

Give me a break.  Don't put me in with him just because he's on my friends list.  Have I personally attacked you?  I might think your being a complete elitist ****** but I haven't reported you or called you names.

I've never seen such hate on the Saints Row forums but maybe I haven't looked hard enough or maybe they're an exception.

It's either there already or it will be. The more success a company or franchise has over an extended period of time, the more it will become a focus of discontent. An example would be the forum for any Blizzard game. Bile all over the place, but every game they make is a huge success.

Hence my wish that Bioware deson't go to RPG Codex and listen to them.  That place encourages hatred on a huge scale it sickens me.  The whole place is dedicated to hating things and then spewing the worst kind of venom for anyone who disagrees.  Its no surprise Sympathy is a member.  His blatant elitism and hatred for anyone who doesn't think like him fits right in.  The only reason he's not using every swear known to mankind is because Bioware doesn't allow it to happen on their site.

Simplified morality is my biggest concern. Don't just tell me something is 'gray' show me the gray! Show me cause and effect. Show me consequences.

I'm worried it will have a bad ending... I've had some pretty bad experiences with endings of a trilogy.

Really sucks though, you spend all that time emotionally investing yourself in the storyline and characters, only to get screwed over in the end.

Some form of loss is quite likely, but I'd still like some kind of super-difficult timed-insanity mode superman run that lets us save everyone, rather than the (far more likely) "No matter how long you take or how fast you are when you get to trigger point X suddenly Y happens and you have to choose between outcome A & B, sucks to be you"

Saving everyone just doesn't make sense. Sheppard is just one man. He can't be in all places at all times, he can't stop orbital bombardmanets with his heroic willpower alone.

I cringe at the thought of losing a squad mate just to trigger a cheap response, people dying on the SM mission may have justifiable reasons in your mind, and I completely respect that, but I shouldn't have to come up with reasons or w/e to try and ease the pain of losing a squad mate.

But I guess I can agree,as long as I have the possibility to save everyone, and I'm not forced to make cheap Virmire-esque decisions.

I want death, destruction and loss that is UNAVOIDABLE.

And mind you, the Virmire decision was kinda a fluke because it ingored a very real solution to the problem (aka - the Normandy). If you have a decision that doesn have an obivous way out, then it's not a problem.

People dying because I made mistake is okay.

Having a required death is just lame and the effect will only last for that playthrough. At least for me.

After that...meh. They can do better things than that. Not to mention that it'd ****** people off if their favorite character must always die.

And this forum would turn into a ****storm. More so than usual.

My Biggest Concerns are plot stupidity, and character death simply to create some false sense of drama

This thread isn't locked yet? Surprising.

Agree with other posters; I think the fanbase causes more problems than anything else. Aside from that, I have faith that BioWare will tell us a great story.

Could always stay dead when killed in firefight instead. Wouldn't be forced death so sounds like what some people asking for. Akin to no ressurecting companions when killed by stray bullet in simple any random fight. Else them dying as part of choice after ressurecting each time after fight is no matter how look at it forced death. So to me rather have of the two, have them die due to plot choice instead of them die in normal fight with no ressurection skill in normal 1 in million of fights in game.

So I do want them to die based on plot choice because alternatives are worse, death at any time because unrealistic to keep magically ressurrecting until end or everyone lives regardless of everything do. I don't think people actually think about it and realise what they ask for when talk about things on here.

Had some during the announce and the marketing launch, none now. The only thing is probably the animations, but when I come to think of it, I won't really care.

The change in composer worries me a bit.
The rumors about MP (They still haven't denied anything..) and all this kinect stuff worries me a bit too.

other than that, I'm pretty sure the game will be awesome.

I'm worried about the audio sync bug that was in the PS3 version of ME2 making a "appearance" in ME3.

Other than that nothing really to worry about the story should be good as Bioware are pro's at delivering good stories. Game play looks solid so far and customising your powers/abilities looks good.

Death is part of life. Even moreso war.
The idea that if you do everytihng right, no one will die is just silly.
People die regardless.
