Too bad yours is for distracton instead of actually killing.

Engineers suck.......

Looks a lot more appealing than the Soldier, who's just made for brain dead people.

Yeah. Shepard can be a retard like that. Wiping out civilizations for no good reason.

Engineer was, is and will always be the most boring class.

Is that I hate them a sufficient reason for you?:D

No, I just find that reason to be so pathetic.

"Whaaaaaaaa, I don't like the quarians, and I'm too dense to just ignore them or any other character I don't like."

That's BSN in a nutshell.

If the powers I have are also used by two other people, Im out. Shepard is supposed to be unique. On top of that, why play as any other class other then Sentinel, Vanguard or Adept?

Want Sentinel? Play Splinter Cell

Want Soldier? Play gears of War

Want engineer? eat ****!

Depends on what class you play.

Infiltrators: Black + White MARPAT camo

Soldiers: Default

Adept/Vanguard/Sentinel: Any shade of Blue or Purple

Engineer: Any shade of Orange or Yellow

What, you need your own power to feel special?

Was Shepard supposed to be unique in ME1?  The only combat power that Shepard had that was unavailable to squadmates was Unity, unless I'm very much mistaken.

I have to say I don't understand your comparisons.  I haven't played much Splinter Cell, but I don't see the Sentinel's gameplay of mixing projectiles with resilience and explosions in that particular series at all.  Similarly, there is no time dilation, arguably the Soldier's most defining characteristic in ME2, in Gears of War.

I usually do shiny purple for most runs. Though I have a camo (green/brown) scheme for my current Vanguard.

Shepard is special, even if Tali and Legion get incredibly watered down and ineffective versions of one signature power.  Look at the size of Shepard's skill set when compared to his or her squadmates.  Look at the arsenal available to Shepard and not his or her squadmates.

I think Shepard is quite special by what he/she does and what he/she accomplishes.

Well you are completaly wrong, no insult intended.

In ME1, Shepard wasn't unique, and ME2 fixed that... for some classes anyway. Sentinel is tech and biotics, two of the marks of ME, yet doesn't have the lack luster of the Engineer. They turned it into tank with the new power which was dumb for that class. The soldier just carries guns... nothing more really. Adrenaline Rush is just to up the ante.

Oh look, someone pushing they're opinion in a civilized way. That's a rare thing around here.

Not to mention that Shepard can use guns the teammates can't.

Another concern is that Bioware gives into all this "Shepard has to die" For the ending to meaning something. See I'm worried the Bioware going to cave and write the very end of the game and its going to copy and paste job. Instead of finishing the way they intended too.

Hopefully romances will remain strictly peripheral, OPTIONAL side-content that doesn't in any way influence the real plot of the game.

Mass effect 3 will, of course, have many different endings. It beats the purpose of having multiple endings a little if Shepard dies in every ending now wouldn't it? BioWare giving in to fans is a viable concern though. A developer can only cater to so many different people. Trying to please every single fan out there would make for an incredibly weak game.

My biggest concern is how we will defeat the Reapers.
Hopefully no deux ex machina.

Too bad it was said months ago that half-way through the game the secret to defeating the Reapers will reveal itself.
