Too bad yours is for distracton instead of actually killing.
Engineers suck.......
Looks a lot more appealing than the Soldier, who's just made for brain dead people.

Yeah. Shepard can be a retard like that. Wiping out civilizations for no good reason.

Engineer was, is and will always be the most boring class.

Is that I hate them a sufficient reason for you?

If the powers I have are also used by two other people, Im out. Shepard is supposed to be unique. On top of that, why play as any other class other then Sentinel, Vanguard or Adept?
Want Sentinel? Play Splinter Cell
Want Soldier? Play gears of War
Want engineer? eat ****!

What, you need your own power to feel special?

Im Shepard, the protagonist, so yes, I want to feel special. Wouldn't you?

Was Shepard supposed to be unique in ME1? The only combat power that Shepard had that was unavailable to squadmates was Unity, unless I'm very much mistaken.
I have to say I don't understand your comparisons. I haven't played much Splinter Cell, but I don't see the Sentinel's gameplay of mixing projectiles with resilience and explosions in that particular series at all. Similarly, there is no time dilation, arguably the Soldier's most defining characteristic in ME2, in Gears of War.

I think Shepard is quite special by what he/she does and what he/she accomplishes.

Shepard is special, even if Tali and Legion get incredibly watered down and ineffective versions of one signature power. Look at the size of Shepard's skill set when compared to his or her squadmates. Look at the arsenal available to Shepard and not his or her squadmates.

Hopefully romances will remain strictly peripheral, OPTIONAL side-content that doesn't in any way influence the real plot of the game.

Another concern is that Bioware gives into all this "Shepard has to die" For the ending to meaning something. See I'm worried the Bioware going to cave and write the very end of the game and its going to copy and paste job. Instead of finishing the way they intended too.

My biggest concern is how we will defeat the Reapers.
Hopefully no deux ex machina.
