That Legion hasn't learned how to Moon Walk yet.

On a more serious note...

That it doesn't get play tested thoroughly. There are spots in both current games where quick moves near walls or some other objects sends you up into the ceiling. Absolutely frustrating when you have to lose progress because of a bug that gets overlooked.

And crap like Ish's mission being bugged, and typos in the journal.

Ish's mission had bugs?

If you charm/intimidate Ish the assignment wont close in the journal.

Technically that's not a bug in Ish's mission.  Your mission is to give him the data you found for him.  If you don't give it to him the mission is incomplete.  Though there probably should be some type of flag that says "hey you scared him off mission failed." or something.

I've got caught walking on air or wedged on an obstacle more times than I care to remember.  When I have to restart a mission because of it that is a real bug.

My worries include...

-The cameo setup. A repeat of ME2 will see me be disappointed.

-Cerberus, for reasons already covered.

-The plausibility of how we defeat the Reapers. (If the Alliance fleet retreats, rather than gets destroyed, that'd be better...)

Pretty sure the Ish thing has been acknowledged as a bug.

As for the walking on air thing, sometimes it's a squadie.

Edit: Used to have a screenie of the corpse you find in Mordins LM standing there while you checked him out. :D

I'm afraid of the lack of missions available after you beat the game. I'd like to see bots and auto generated battlefields to keep fighting with my characters and squadmates.
And I'm, of course, afraid to finish it too quickly. Hoping it's still a rpg and not that much a shooter.

I lol so hard when squaddies do that,I had Thane fly up on top of this pillar and he became a sniping god, same thing happened to Samara and I just had to draw fire while she mopped up the mess with throw and Mattock fire.

Yeah,I keep mentioning an idea for an arena where you fight increasing waves of mechs start with the FENRIS,work your way all the way to the YMIR,would be pretty wicked.

But the more post-game the better.

It could be.  But once I realized why it never completed it stopped bothering me.

Couldn't see the pic but I have seen squadmates and even enemies walk on air.  And a couple times even had enemies get stuck.  On the mission to get Grunt a merc got stuck in a corner and kept screaming bloody murder after getting hit with a biotic power (throw I think).  He floated a couple feet above the ground bobbing up and down in the corner.  I watch this for a minute as he screamed before putting him out of his misery.  Another time a merc got stuck in an unopenable door when I fought Captain Wasea.  I had killed everybody and roamed the room wondering why the mission wouldn't end.  I finally found him on the radar on the otherside of the door on the left hand side of the room.  Thankfully, I had shockwave and was able to kill him through the wall.  Really really hope they fix stuff like that in ME3.

I get that a lot with biotics, too. Some enemy AI gets blasted into the wall or something. Not really a bug but a funny thing with the games engine is killing some random baddie in a doorway. Played the Kenson mission a little while ago (again) and had two bodies get slammed into the door as it auto-closed. When I got up to them the one dudes leg was extended into the room like twelve feet. Had to lol at that one.

^Eh, watch the Demos?

I have and it's all combat with the same two squad members.  It's still what 7 months until the games comes out, but that's my biggest concern until I see something else.

Edit: I saw Anderson in one too, so three squad members lol

I've seen in one of the vids Tali as a squad member, rather she was behind Shepard for a brief second.  I'll see if I can find the vid.
14 minute mark is a vid portion with Garrus and Tali by your side.

As far as my concern, Character interactions;  I'm kinda concerned they'll cut into the "create your own adventure" aspect of it.

Also not something that can be manhandled in a single afternoon.  Greatly concerned that they'll hack some of the time off the game, I want a nice, lengthy 40+ (main quest) hour enjoyable game play experience.  Side quests/DLC included I would love for around 50-60 hours.

Armor customization on Shep to be present, and a few choices on alt skins on the other squadmates.

Fem/shep to posess long hair option, and not to be plastic looking.

The "Roadie run" styled storm seen in the demos, isnt astetically pleasing, and neither was the previous demo...

A nice add-in for character would be to use Facial Mo-cap and have face actors, but that's not needed.

Lack of skills governed by statistics. Too much shooting and no open areas of exploration to get breaks from combat. Decharacterization of the Reapers from machine gods who are the pinnacle of evolution and existence into a very beatable army. Theme music. Rail shooting sequences (and against a Reaper. Really?). Lack of things to loot and collect (your telling me you wouldn't want to loot and collect ten times more different armor and weapons...some special weapons that can only be found I'm one area of the entire game?). The Reapers simply being defeated by a united galaxy.

I'm confident in the characterization outside the Reapers. Characterization writing was superb in ME2.

My biggest concern is that, so far, all we have been shown is a third person shooter.

All that they they talk about is how much time and effort that they are putting into improving combat.

They are very reluctant to discuss much else, and somehow think that showing us a workbench where we can modify our weapons is a demonstration of their renewed focus on "RPG mechanics".

The consistent emphasis that BW has elected to place on combat, and only combat, are precisely why I find the endless rumours of multiplayer all too plausible.

This does not look anything like an RPG to me, at least based on the previews we have seen. It just looks like another 3rd Person Shooter. I hope that I'm wrong, but with each new preview they fail to show anything but a game I'm increasingly suspicious is going to be another DA2.

My concern is about which squad mates die no matter what you do, sort of like Virmire.

There is much greater potential for spoilers in RPG elements than combat elements, so naturally they aren't showing many RPG elements this early in development. I'm actually kind of reassured, because if combat has come along this well, that means that much of the remaining development time can be spent focusing on plot and RPG elements.

In short, calm down, buster brown.

I actually liked DA2. Once I separated it mentally from DA:O, I was able to appreciate it as its own game. There was something compelling for me in each party member.

I loved DA2.  The bugs made what could've been a great game into a mere good game.  Issues like what DA2 started with will forever plague it even after fixed.  DA2 is an awesome game that will forever be burdened with it's initial flaws that have since been fixed.

DA2's biggest flaw was its lack of area differentiation. The story was good, but it felt claustrophobic to me. I guess that was kinda part of it though, but if Al can get there I should've been able to get somewhere else other than that silly cave.

I made my points quite calmly and reasonably. If anyone seems to need to calm down, it's you. I really don't appreciate your patronizing attitude, but despite your tone, I'll give you a reasonable reply.

Agreed on your points regarding spoiler potential, but we are not talking about a company that gives a damn about spoilers. If you were around for prior Bioware games, specifically DAO or ME2, they released endless spoiler trailers.

I'd like to think they learned their lesson about spoilers, but that has yet to be demonstrated.

And, no, ME3 is not in "early development",. it is in "final production"according to Casey Hudson himself on August 2nd:

twitter.com/#!/CaseyDHudson/status/98630500415049728

"@MarcianTobay Sorry man - impressive commitment but we're already in final production. I couldn't even put myself in the game at this point."

I think the BioWare guys have learned about spoilers. By this time before ME2's release, we already knew about like half the story. The most spoilerish we know so far about ME3 is that parts of Cerberus might be working for the Reapers.
