I'm not saying I hate Jack, I'm saying that I don't care for Jack. She's an interesting character yes but she's useless to me, her only powers are warp ammo, pull, and shockwave. Shockwave is only for husks and you don't see them that often, pull is kinda good but to situational and if I play as a biotic, I use Jacob or Samara for that insetead because they have other good powers, I do use warp ammo on my snipers but it's usually heavy warp ammo for myself, not squad. Bottom line is that Jack is interesting, but not usefull.

Kasumi - Ninja Thief. She stays.
Grunt - Not a huge fan of Krogan, but they're helpful.
Legion - Both he and Garrus are both effectively Snipers yes, but they're both awesome.


Vega didn't make the cut 'cause I have no idea what his character is like.
Kaidan didn't make the cut because Ashley is better.
Samara didn't make the cut 'cause I don't like her.
Morinth didn't make the cut because I don't like her.
Jack's alright, but Liara's more useful.
Jacob is too bland.
Miranda goes on about how perfect she is too much. It's a defense mechanism I know, but an annoying one.
Edit: Forgot about Mordin. I don't find him hugely helpful in combat (he might be, just not for me) but as a shipmate, he is actually pretty awesome, but I'm basing my choices on a mix of combat and ship interactions combined.

Actually Jack is quite useful, you just have to know how to use her, like any other character. She was a solid compliment to my Vanguard. Anyway I guess I would go with
