Seriously, curb the rage and do something...I dunno..productive rather than calling people names and other such delectable, intelligent behavior?

Don't presume to tell me what to do or how to spend my time. I am telling you that I hate what is happening to the video game industry, and how it's being dumbed-down to accommodate a wider and wider audience. If you are part of the gaming community that praises an empty, hollow, half-assed cash grab of a game like DA2; Then I am directing my hate squarely towards you and your ilk.

Xilizhra's Law of Inverse Stupidity: Those who claims that stupidity is saturating everyone except themselves simply make themselves sound stupider.

Whatever, it's funny and I feel it's pretty damn accurate. I kind of hate everyone who still defends this game. It's because of you that we're going to continue to get a game market saturated with streamlined, slimmed/watered/dumbed down cash grabs. DA 2 is a symptom of the disease of stupidity sweeping game development. It was bound to happen, of course. What with the average IQ being 100 and video games becoming a mainstream revenue machine.

We will continue to see games being diluted to the point of being universally appealing until no true genres exist. Every game will be an amalgam of perfunctory banality with infinite cross-over appeal and no identity. Music, movies and now games. All perverted by the lure of money from the mouth-breathers who mocked the industry for the last 20 years as being for 'nerds.' Now you perpetuate the accommodation of these same people into our midst by praising the moronification of the last bastion of intellectualism in gaming; The RPG. I hate the stupid, as they outnumber me and control the world.

Burn in hell, all of you.

Fill this please.

And don't YOU presume to tell me what to think or how to feel about a bloody game just because YOU disliked it in a way that borders on obsession.

Oh, hate me, I'm fine with being hated by someone who behaves in such an arrogant, condescending manner.

"My ilk"? Sweet. Listen up, dear, I've been into RPGs for almost 20 years. I do not need you or anyone to tell me what makes a good RPG. I have my opinion and you have yours. Deal with it.

You hate everyone who "still" defends this game. Huh, now that will totally ruin my day.

Dumbed down, watered down blabla....yet you think trash talk, rage issues and entitlement make a good review. Ah, the irony.

RPGs aren't sacred and holy, how about accepting that? Seriously, curb the rage and do something...I dunno..productive rather than calling people names and other such delectable, intelligent behavior?

More productive than letting hatred towards a game fester. In my book, anyway.

This I understand to a degree, even though Bioware told us most of the changes/removals. I knew I'd not be able to play Dress Up The Dolly with my companions way before the release. (I can now, YAY Mods!)

I didn't have much of an objection to this until the item packs, since 2/3rds of them are rendered totally useless in every playthrough. They looked pretty good too so letting the companions equip them as alt. outfits would have been welcome.

If you are on the PC, I can link you to at least two mods that will allow this & more.:)

Thanks but I'm not on the PC unfortunately, if you have any screenshots of the DLC stuff on the companions though that would be cool. How does rogue armour work on Varric?

I'll send you some. Varric is a tough case, but Ish made a Mod where his upgrades are replaced by different looking outfits you can swap around. Loads of fun!

I agree. The only reason I come back to these forums is to see what Bioware is doing next and to see if they have learnt from their mistakes. Then, I get on with my life like a normal human being should. Capeshe?

I say enjoy the review for what it is. I mean, for example I disagreed with his bashing of FF13 (I mean I've only played about 2 hours of it but I enjoyed it) but that doesn't mean I can't see the humour in what he said. It's the same if someone say, bashed some of the things in Mass Effect (e.g. calibrations), while I love that game franchise I can definitely handle humourous criticisms directed at it, just how this review was meant to be mostly humourous (while underneath that still bringing up major points he disliked about DA2) but critical at the same time.

I didn't see much humour there, besides Freddie Mercury which I liked. But yeah FFXIII was good, not VIII or X but much better than XII.

Oh wow, how snide and hip you are Aeowyn. Of course, that passive-aggressive attempt at an insult would only work if I was ashamed of being passionate about the things I enjoy. I don't. I know it's completely socially unacceptable now days to admit that you give a **** about something, but I do. And Xilizhra, my IQ is 139 and the average IQ is 100. It's fairly easy to deduce that the majority of people that I interact with are going to be comparative morons, Yourself included.

But thanks for weighing-in.

There is no humor in this review. Zero Punctuation is funny, this is just a fan being buthurt, swearing and making himself look like a moron.

There is being passionate about the things you enjoy and then there is being obnoxious, rude, entitled and self-absorbed.

And that should say "I am not". Because you do not do passion. Or do you?;)

Oh how masterfully intelligent you are Pwnsaur. You are not passionate about anything. You are a butthurt elitist who think you know so much about gaming.

Also, claiming that you have a high IQ on an internet forum, doesn't make you less of a douchebag.

Yes, I am typing furiously and not proof-reading so mistakes will be made. Good one.

I don't care if you think I'm being obnoxious or abrasive. I'm tired of the milquetoast tip-toeing that people do to avoid offending people. The games industry is going down the ****ter and I am here to say I'm ****ing sick of it.

Wow.

Its people like YOU in fact who hurt gaming more.

This can be said to accuratly sum up just about everything I feel in regards to everything you just said.

The pathetic little arrogant fan dumb spouting elitest snobs who cant see reality because their head is shoved so far up their ass. Who only pulls it out to spew such utter and complete bull **** just to make themselves feel better about living in their mothers basement or living alone because no one can stand your prescence.

You have an opionion pal, and it is NOT fact.
Deal with it, or get some maturity and self-awareness BEFORE making yourself into a perfect example of a snobby RPG-elitist who no one pays any real heed to except for others of this perverted sub-species.

Also F.Y,I no one really cares what your alleged I.Q. is and refencing it makes you look like a douche bag.
