Yes, people have different priorities. Shocking, I know. Some people like what others dislike. It's an easy thing to grasp. Or so one might think.

Way to completely ignore my argument. I wasn't commenting on how you have different priorities, I was challenging your flawed perspective. Your rebuttal was that you can't acknowledge said argument because you don't deem the subject as being worthy. Not a valid response, unfortunately. It's a way of saying 'I have no counter-point.' You yourself admit to liking NPC dialogue, so 'liking what others dislike' is also a fallacious argument. You have no legs to stand-on and yet you refuse to admit that you're wrong. NPC interaction in DA2 was 99% marked or quest-related. Previous to that, it was not. The fact remains.

chill THE F*CK OUT

seriously

i hate DA2 as much as the next guy/girl but pretty much going "stfu b*tch" when perse says anything is just ...

....lame.

I never thought I'd see the day when you would leap to my defense, good ser. (And I'm not being sarcastic, I swear) I know we are polar opposites when it comes to DAII (Which is just a frigging game at the end of the day), but I sincerely appreciate you for speaking up for me.

I know this might sound odd coming from me, but I think you'd attract more flies with honey than vinegar.  In short, just because you basically agreed with that review (as did I and said so) doesn't mean you should take their style of conversation to the boards and expect anything other than a hostile response even by those that agree with you.

I hope you noted the conversation I had with another poster who I've disagreed with quite openly on many threads.  It was civil.  You might want to take this to heard.  Again just saying.

Honestly, I don't really care if people attack me or don't like me. I am fully aware that I am surrounded by double-digit IQ morons wherever I go. I could take the politically-correct route and strip my statements of any offensive and/or controversial words or phrases but I don't care to. It's interesting that we are all supposed to keep our mouths shut while half our population are borderline intellectually functioning and ruining everything. I don't care man. Hahaha. Look around.. They're ****ing everywhere! Having kids when they can't keep a job or graduate from high-school. Voting for politicians based on looks and willful ignorance. Barely having the reading comprehension and English capability to write and speak in their native tongue. I really do hate them. And my disgust cannot be contained.

Blow me. If she was able to competently form a logical argument than I wouldn't have exposed her. Additionally, she attacked me first. Or didn't you care to mention that?

I am one of the more outspoken critics of DA2 around.  Just ask the other posters, but there are ways and there are ways.  As a humble suggestion, I'd cut the profanity (masked or not).  It interferes with what you are trying to say and much if it is cogent.....but that doesn't matter if everyone tunes you out.

In short, presentation matters and a little courtesy goes a long way.  If someone is discourteous to you first, that's perhaps another matter, but spewing bile (even when it's justified) is a poor way to convince anyone.

That's all I'm trying to say.

Well, as unconstructive as I am you may have noticed that I stick to bashing the game rather than individuals (as in, directly insulting them, I'm not afraid to call bullsh*t). I think calling people on here morons or w/e, even if they can be really irritating you is just out of order, and whenever the temptation hits me I'll just step back, do something else to calm down.

Then of course soon enough I return to being a keyboard warrior.

I'm 26 with an MA but thanks for the condescending 'kiddo.'

And yes, I exposed you for having no counter-point to my argument. You copped-out and avoided the subject by saying it wasn't your 'priority.' Again, I must say, one of the weakest and poorly thought out arguments I have heard in a while. And given my work, I hear a lot.

Awww, 26? Cute.

Dearie, given your "arguments", I simply do not bother. Take a hint from Polaris, he and I actually had a civil, productive discussion. Like adults, you know? Adults who disagree when it comes to DAII, yet do not turn it into a personal swearing fest like a toddler throwing a tantrum.

Thanks for the wisdom, but it isn't necessary. I am a writer in my daily job, and I have to trim any semblance of offensiveness from most of what I write. On public forums, I enjoy my freedom. Additionally, I am an outspoken critic of censorship (something that I've written about at length.) I understand that it can distract some minds away from my underlying theme, but those people are generally the morons I abhor. I understand what you are trying to say, and thank you, for caring to say it. But I am not trying to convince anyone of anything, as I've already found out, you can't teach anything to people who know everything.

Most of what you've written has been about how awesome the review was, rambling, telling everyone else they're wrong and swearing. So, no, it has lacked sense in many areas and many of your so called points were void of any real meaning.

Again, I know it upset you but it does apply. Take it from an astronaut/big brother volunteer with a double major of super english and space flight.

All my points have had meaning and reasoning to support them. I have also not 'lacked sense,' otherwise known as being unreasonable. Additionally, telling people they're wrong and swearing is not being 'inane.' You can grasp tightly to that pillar of self-righteousness, but I have all but chipped it away.

You know Chipy, you're all puffed up and full o' bluster. My cousin Mortimer VonTaintstain was like that as well. The way he talked, you'd think he thought he was the most intelligent and wise person to ever grace the planet. I always figured it was his way of making up for spending so much time in the bathroom on account of his chron's disease. After all the times he'd been show he was wrong, he always had to get the last word in. It would have been better to get first step out of there before he was beaten and ended up telling inane stories about how he always made sense. Anyway, to make a long story short, he ended up walking around wearing an ass for a hat. Oddest thing, really.

Well, to each their own I guess.  I personally don't consider using polite words to be censorship as long as the meaning is there, but if you've made up your mind, we'll see where that goes.  I just don't think it will go very well and that would be a shame.  Enough.  I'm out on this topic.  Do what you will (but don't expect the mods to agree to that!)

I was not aware of this being a contest, nor do I "count" such things. That's something children do.
